{"id":5620,"date":"2015-03-19T06:47:21","date_gmt":"2015-03-19T06:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5620"},"modified":"2015-03-19T06:47:21","modified_gmt":"2015-03-19T06:47:21","slug":"do-not-judge-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5620","title":{"rendered":"DO NOT JUDGE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Faith Capsule:<\/b> It is the way of God for us not to judge.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>John 8<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Condemning an act is arriving at judgment. Condemning one\u2019s self or another is passing judgment on one\u2019s self or others. Jesus alone is the true judge and there is no man in position to judge is fellow brother. Jesus specifically warned in <b><i>Matthew 7:1-2, <\/i><\/b><b><i>\u201cJudge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.\u201d<\/i><\/b> Nothing qualifies any believer to be a judge. The Bible declared it in <b><i>Romans 3:23, \u201cFor all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.\u201d<\/i><\/b> God alone is the perfect judge because He alone is holy and sinless. God alone cannot misjudge man. Condemning others by our judgment is looking into other\u2019s shortcomings while we are yet to take the step to look closely into ours. Jesus said in, <b><i>Matthew 7:3-4, \u201cAnd why do you look at the speck in your brother\u2019s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, \u2018Let me remove the speck from your eye\u2019; and look, a plank is in your own eye?<\/i><\/b> As a believer, proper care needs to be constantly placed so as to eliminate our arriving quickly at condemning others, especially outside of what we believe. With the understanding of the fact that no one is perfect but God, forgiving others should be a knowledgeable way of approaching the world of sin and iniquity.<br \/>\nThe scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in the act of adultery to Jesus, and they wanted to know why she should not be stoned. Have you been greatly offended and wanting to know why your offender should be let go without your judgment? This is what Jesus said to the scribes and the Pharisees, which also speak to us, <b><i>\u201cSo when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, \u201cHe who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.\u201d (John 8:7) <\/i><\/b>To let go and let God take over can be very challenging when looking for an instant judgment that fits any offence against us. The fact that there is none that is perfect is enough to hold back, rather than carrying out judgment. This was Jesus\u2019 response to the woman caught in the act of adultery, <b><i>\u201cThen those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience,went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.\u201d (John 8:9).<\/i><\/b> It is the way of God for us not to judge. Restrain from your way, and let the Lord have His way.<b><i> <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Prayer for today:<\/b> <i>Ask God to deliver you, from conscious or unconscious ways that you have taken outside of His word.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faith Capsule: It is the way of God for us not to judge.
