{"id":5714,"date":"2015-05-07T11:40:35","date_gmt":"2015-05-07T11:40:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5714"},"modified":"2015-05-07T11:40:35","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T11:40:35","slug":"involve-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=5714","title":{"rendered":"INVOLVE GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Faith capsule: <\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Every move without involving God will revolve to failure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 Chronicles 18<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gaining understanding and knowing what God wants for one keeps one in line with God\u2019s agenda in life. When a man is moved by what he wants and not by what the Lord wants for him, that man will be removed from where God wants him to be. There is place of God for each and in order to avoid sudden or untimely death, no man should remove self from the place of God. God has put all that it takes for man to be saved in place for any man that will remain in God\u2019s place regardless of the enemies plan.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">David wanted to rescue his wives, his follower\u2019s wives, sons, daughters that were taken refuge by the Amalekites who invaded where David and his people were located. By virtue of the pressure for the need to rescue his follower\u2019s people, he could not make any move without asking God for direction. The bible described David\u2019s situation stating, <\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lord<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> his God.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201d (1 Samuel 30:6)<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Despite the challenges before him, he could not rush to move on his own without inquiring from God for direction. David took it before God,<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><i> \u201cDavid inquired of the <\/i><\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, saying, \u201cShall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> And He answered him, \u201cPursue, for you shall surely overtake <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">them<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> and without fail recover <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">all.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201d (1 Samuel 30:8)<\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> David made move after having inquired from God. He pursued and overtook his enemy because he was able to make his move based on God\u2019s response to his enquiry.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Are you on the verge of making a move without carrying God along? Every move without involving God will revolve to failure. By man\u2019s understanding, it might seem that one has been getting away without involving God. However, it is important to hear now and not take to one\u2019s own move but God\u2019s direction.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One\u2019s with their mind made up before inquiring for God\u2019s direction do not always listen for the right direction. Once, King Ahab of Judah was set for a confrontational war. Ahab sought the support of Jehoshaphat the king of Israel. Jehoshaphat agreed to go but with condition to inquire from God. Before calling on the prophet Micaiah, Ahab despised the prophet claiming that he never prophesize good concerning him. At the insistence of Jehoshaphat, Micaiah spoke as from God, <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><i>I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the <\/i><\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><i>Lord<\/i><\/b><\/span><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> said, \u2018These have no master. Let each return to his house in peace.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> (2 Chronicles 18:16) <\/span><\/i><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ahab rejected God\u2019s prophetic message which was inquired and he did not return from the battle. As a result of Ahab\u2019s move, Ahab was<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\"> removed from where God wants him to be. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prayer for today: <\/span><\/b><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ask that God will keep you from every way of disobedience to His direction.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faith capsule: Every move without involving God will revolve to failure. 2 Chronicles 18 Gaining understanding and knowing what God wants for one keeps one in line with God\u2019s agenda in life.
