FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Give glory and honor and thanks to God for Jesus.<\/p>\n

John 1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalmist stated, \u201cRemember<\/em><\/strong> me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation.\u201d (Psalm 106:4) <\/em><\/strong>Indeed His favor toward man today was delivered when He visited salvation.
\nVirgin Mary received the message of favor, \u201cThen the angel said to her, \u201cDo not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. \u00a0<\/sup>And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. \u00a0<\/sup>He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.\u00a0<\/sup>And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.\u201d (Luke 1:30-33)
\n<\/em><\/strong>God is a good God. Give glory and honor and thanks belong to Him.
\nIn this time of year but all year round, who does your glory and honor and thanks goes to? At this time of the year, is it your gift for others is your attention or giving glory and honor and thanks to Him who gave the message of favor with salvation?
\nIt is written, \u201cWhenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.\u201d (Revelation 4:9-11)
\n<\/em><\/strong>He is a good God and He is worthy of all glory and honor and thanks.
\nWhy not preoccupy yourself with giving glory, honor and thanks?
\nAllow your prayer and supplication to become rooted in giving glory and honor with giving thanks to God.
\nPaul knew exactly what he was saying when he stated, \u201cBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, and let your requests be made known to God.\u201d (Philippians 4:6) <\/em><\/strong>God owes man nothing except that man owes God all the glory and honor. Out of His goodness and mercy, He gave to us love and the Bible stated, \u201cFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.\u201d (John 3:16)
\n<\/em><\/strong>God sent Jesus to the world.
\nIt is written, \u201cBut as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.\u201d (John 1:12)<\/em><\/strong> To those who receive and believe in Jesus, everlasting life becomes their portion. It is only receiving and believing Him that makes the only way out of every trap of hell.<\/p>\n
