FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Is the fear of God your way of living life?<\/p>\n

Psalm 34<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The book of Ecclesiastes 12:13 <\/em><\/strong>documented how to live life, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandment, for this is man\u2019s all.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The conclusion to live life is for Man to live in the fear of God.
\nThe understanding that is needed to live in the fear of God is the ability to listen to the commandment of God (word of God). Knowing the word of God is going after God\u2019s own heart. For example, King David was identified by God as one after God\u2019s own heart. David\u2019s fear of God kept him and saw him through life\u2019s terminating challenges. King Saul chased the life of David when David gained position to kill Saul. David was so fear of God not to kill King Saul when he stated, \u201c\u2026<\/em><\/strong>But my eye spared you, and I said, \u2018I will not stretch out my hand against my lord, for he is the Lord\u2019s anointed.\u201d (1 Samuel 24:10)<\/em><\/strong> Is the fear of God your way of living life? David did not allow foolishness in his heart as a result he could not demonstrate lack of the fear of God by killing King Saul.
\nDavid, by virtue of his life experience, he is qualified to teach us the fear of God. In Psalm 34, David spoke out, \u201cCome, you children, listen to me;<\/em><\/strong> I will teach you the fear of the Lord.\u201d (Proverbs 34:11)
\n<\/em><\/strong>Are you a true believer that listens to hear and be one with understanding of the fear of God?
\nAre you aware that the fear of God is a way to provoke the blessings of God?
\nThrough listening to the word of God, know God by keeping your heart diligently.
\nDavid Psalm 34 pointed out four point\u2019s four man to learn and know the fear of God by stating: Keep your tongue from evil, keep your lips from speaking deceit, depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.<\/em> (Psalm 34:13-14)<\/strong> Digesting the four points into one\u2019s life will no doubt mark one as a God fearing one. The fear of God is a Spirit of God as listed among identifies of the Spirit of God in Isaiah 11:12.
\nIt is the grace of God that is giving life year after year. However, not knowing the fear of God is not God\u2019s will for us. To fear God is for our own good because it keeps us not to depart from God. When we are able to obey fully by fearing God, He will preserve us fully. Whatever that is in line with God\u2019s plan and we are able to desire, God will deposit it. Be zealous for the fear of the Lord and it will become of you.<\/p>\n
