{"id":6190,"date":"2016-02-18T06:08:15","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T06:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=6190"},"modified":"2016-02-18T06:08:15","modified_gmt":"2016-02-18T06:08:15","slug":"hiding-from-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=6190","title":{"rendered":"HIDING FROM GOD?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Are you still avoiding God\u2019s calling?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Exodus 4<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When God was set to use Moses for the deliverance of the Israelites, Moses could not block his ears to hear and avoid answering to God. Moses had no way but heard and repeatedly to refuse God with different excuses, claiming as incompetent for the calling of God. Moses answered series of God\u2019s calling stating, <strong><em>\u201cBut suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, \u2018The Lord has not appeared to you.\u201d (Exodus 4:1)<\/em><\/strong> God answered to each of Moses\u2019 question with answer to encourage Moses. Moses also told his creator that he was not eloquent; he was slow of speech and slow of tongue. (Exodus 4:10) Moses attempted to avoid answering God\u2019s calling.<br \/>\nAre you avoiding God\u2019s calling just like Moses?<br \/>\nWith God there was no way to block out God\u2019s calling. God responded to his speech and slow of tongue of excuse stating, <strong><em>\u201cSo the anger of the <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Lord<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> was kindled against Moses, and He said: \u201cIs not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. <sup>\u00a0<\/sup>Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u201d (Exodus 4:14-15)<\/em><\/strong> Moses had no way of escaping God\u2019s calling but he made himself available for God\u2019s assignment.<br \/>\nAre you still avoiding God\u2019s calling?<br \/>\nDo you have a considering place that is not within the reach of God\u2019s calling?<br \/>\nWhen God called Jeremiah, God did not consider any place of escape for Jeremiah not to answer His direction. However, at the calling of Jeremiah, Jeremiah considered himself a youth but God responded, <strong><em>\u201c\u2026Do not say, \u2018I am a youth,\u2019 for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you\u2026\u201d (Jeremiah 1:7-8)<\/em><\/strong> Just as the calling for Moses was loaded with God\u2019s direction so the calling of Jeremiah was set to be well established by God\u2019s direction.<br \/>\nWhatever man is using as a ground of hiding to avoid God\u2019s calling is definitely within the reach of God\u2019s calling. The same God that called Moses with speech and slow of tongue also called young Jeremiah. He has an appointment for you; go and ask Him where you are to go and what you are to do. From where you are now it is not too late to ask from God and get back into a right direction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Ask God to deliver you from agent denial of God\u2019s divine assignment in the life of man.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Are you still avoiding God\u2019s calling?
