FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Hear and do the word of God to see the miracle hand of God.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 28<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Obedience is to believe and do what God says. Having trust and hope in God is the demonstration of obedience to God. Obedience is like the door of blessing as stated, \u201cAnd all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God\u2026\u201d (Deuteronomy 28:2)<\/em><\/strong> Having trust and hope is the key of opening door of blessing stating, \u201cBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.\u201d (Jeremiah 17:7)
\n<\/em><\/strong>Obedience demands hearing and doing the word of God. The book of Philippians 4:9<\/em><\/strong> established the importance of hearing and doing as obedience to God, \u201cThe things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Are you obeying God to have the blessing of having the peace of God?
\nWhen man hears and heed the word of God man shall see miracle. Bible recorded, \u201cThen Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. \u00a0<\/sup>And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. \u00a0<\/sup>For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. \u00a0<\/sup>And there was great joy in that city.\u201d (Acts 8:5-8) <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Philip preached Christ (the Word of God), many heard and heed the word of God to see the miracle hand of God. With obedience by hearing and heeding, seeing miracle of the hand of God answers in the life of obedience.
\nWith understanding the blessing of obeying the word of God also demands the need to understand the consequence of disobeying the word of God. In the life of journey, not hearing and heeding is taking to the route of curses. Deuteronomy 28:15 <\/em><\/strong>recorded,\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cBut it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the <\/em><\/strong>Lord<\/em><\/strong> your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>God cannot be deceived, \u201cBut be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror.\u201d (James 1:22-23)
\n<\/em><\/strong>Knowing that sacrificial service to God is good. However, sacrificial service is not enough if hearing and doing the word of God is not having a place in the life of man. Attend the word of God to know that, \u201c\u2026<\/em><\/strong>to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.\u201d (1 Samuel 15:22)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
