FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Fear God and have in the heart that it is wisdom to know God.<\/p>\n

Psalm 103<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The book of Psalm 64:9<\/em><\/strong> stated, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider His doing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Do you fear God as commanded by the word of God? Does your fear of God reflect the life you are living? Proverbs 19:23, \u201cThe fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; he will not be visited with evil.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Fearing God should not be a one-time engagement but a continuous way of living life. It is wisdom to know and be living life in the fear of God. The Psalmist also pointed out that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10). Samuel spelled out clearly in 1 Samuel 12:24, \u201cOnly fear the LORD and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Joshua 24:14<\/em><\/strong> admonished, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong> When there is fear of God in the life of a man, there will be every reason to serve Him in truth with the whole heart. Any believer that is serving God with conscious of all the great work the Lord has done will live life with the understanding that indeed there is nothing God cannot do.
\nCan you think of what God cannot do?
\nIt is foolishness to give up on God for what God can do.
\nFear God and have in the heart that it is wisdom to know God. Not to fear God and have in the heart that it is wisdom to know God is foolishness. It is recorded in Psalm 14:1, \u201cThe fool has said in his heart, \u2018There is no God\u2019. They are corrupt, they have abominable works, there is none who does good.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Where do you stand? Do you fear Him just in the mouth or do you actually fear Him in your heart?
\nThose who truly fear God takes a position as His treasure. To fear God is taking a position of no distance from God. Psalm 103:11 <\/em><\/strong>buttressed, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>It is grace to be alive. Living life is not a right but a privilege of God. It is wisdom to know that in living life there is nothing that counts most but to fear God. The book of Ecclesiastes concluded with a clear warning stating, \u201cLet us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man\u2019s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.\u201d (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
