FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Turning from God is a sin before God.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 3<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Answering fully to God is turning to God\u2019s calling. God has placed a calling upon all with no exemption. God\u2019s salvation plan for us is God\u2019s calling for us before we were born. Bible recorded God\u2019s calling for us, \u201cWho has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.\u201d (2 Timothy 1:9)<\/em><\/strong> Our calling is to turn God. Indeed, God has given a holy calling through Jesus but today man has turned away from God. Lack of understanding is an avenue of turning away from God. Without understanding there will be the lack of knowledge. Lord declared in Hosea 4:6, <\/em><\/strong>\u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The word of God is the source of understanding God. With understanding, fear of God shall make man turn to God. The truth today is that, acclaimed believer inside or outside of church has turned away from God.
\nTurning from God is a sin before God. With no sin, who is better today?
\nGain understanding of the word of Romans 3:10-18, <\/em><\/strong>search heart to know if it speaks to you. There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God; they have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one; their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison of asps is<\/em> under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are<\/em> in their ways; the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes. The word of Romans 3:10-18 speaks of wicked, rebellious before God. Joshua 22:29<\/strong> speaks to all now not just then as stated, \u201c<\/strong>Far be it from us that we should rebel against the <\/em><\/strong>Lord<\/em><\/strong>, and turn from following the <\/em><\/strong>Lord<\/em><\/strong> this day\u2026\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Turning away from God is rebellion. Turning to God is answering fully to God that has called us. God expects our turning to Him with our whole heart when He requested from Judah in Jeremiah 3:10<\/em><\/strong>, \u201cAnd yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense,\u201d says the <\/em><\/strong>Lord<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d\u201d<\/em><\/strong> God cannot be deceived and there shall be no deception in turning to Him. Our turning to God should be a nonstop in the journey of life, giving God His due attention.<\/p>\n

Prayer for today: <\/strong>Ask for the grace of turning to God with the whole heart.<\/em><\/p>\n
