{"id":6598,"date":"2016-11-04T06:42:16","date_gmt":"2016-11-04T06:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=6598"},"modified":"2016-11-04T06:42:16","modified_gmt":"2016-11-04T06:42:16","slug":"error-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=6598","title":{"rendered":"ERROR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ERROR <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Doing what is good wrongly in the name of God is an error.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>2 Samuel 6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Error is a deviation from accuracy as in mistake, as in action or speech. Error is the condition of believing what is not true. Error is a moral offense; wrongdoing; sin. It is an error to violate the word of God and it can be a conscious or unconscious error before God. Error happened in despising the word of God. The bible makes us to realize it that, <strong><em>\u201cHe who despises the word will be destroyed&#8230;\u201d (Proverbs 13:13)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Have you in any way violated or currently violating the word of God? (Pray that the grace of God will open your eyes to avoid or come out of conscious or unconscious error.)<br \/>\nBefore God, there is no excuse for error.<br \/>\nBefore God, Adam and Eve committed error by believing the serpent enough to eat against God\u2019s command not to eat from particular tree in the Garden of Eden. They both violated the word of God by their error (a wrongdoing).<br \/>\nWhen God showed up (just as He will show up on all man) both Adam and Eve attempted to justified their action before God by stating, <strong><em>\u201cThen the man said, \u201cThe woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.\u201d And the Lord God said to the woman, \u201cWhat is this you have done?\u201d The woman said, \u201cThe serpent deceived me, and I ate.\u201d (Genesis 3:12-13) <\/em><\/strong>Adam and Eve\u2019s excuses were not enough before God as they received their judged by God. The error committed by Adam and Eve is the root of today\u2019s pains\u00a0 for man.<br \/>\nDoing what is good wrongly (that is engaging the heart with a wrong act) before God will not excuse destruction consequence. Uzzah engaged wrong doing with good heart. He was wrong; it was act not reasonably acceptable by God according to the word of God. It happened that during the transfer of the Ark of God from the house of Abinadab, Uzzah and Ahio drove the cart. In the process of moving the ark, Uzzah touched when he should not. The bible recorded his error, <strong><em>\u201cAnd when they came to Nachon\u2019s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled.<sup>\u00a0<\/sup>Then the anger of the <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Lord<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.\u2019 (Genesis 6:6-7)<\/em><\/strong> Uzzah\u2019s act of good heart was an error before God.<br \/>\nUzzah despised the word of God as stated in <strong><em>Numbers 4:15, \u201cAnd when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is set to go, then the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them; but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die.\u201d Uzzah touched holy thing which was the ark of God.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Despising the word of God is positioning self for destruction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer point:<\/strong> <em>Ask for grace not to engage a life terminating error.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ERROR FAITH CAPSULE: Doing what is good wrongly in the name of God is an error. 2 Samuel 6 Error is a deviation from accuracy as in mistake, as in action or speech.
