Obeying God means to know God. Knowing God is receiving from God.<br \/>\nJesus enlightened how to receive from God when He stated, <strong><em>\u201cAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8) <\/em><\/strong>Asking, seeking and knocking before God is praying to God for answer. Knowing God to obey will receive answer from God that does not fail to answer prayer. God answers prayer with yes, no or wait.<br \/>\n<strong><u>ASKING<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Jacob asked and received from God which is the evidence that God is not deaf not to answer when man asks. <strong><em>Genesis 32:29<\/em><\/strong> recorded <strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Then Jacob asked, saying, \u201cTell me Your name, I pray.\u201d And He said, \u201cWhy is it that you ask about My name?\u201d And He blessed him there.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> In the verse, \u201cJacob asked and God said.\u201d Asking is an assurance when we know God as stated in the following verses:<br \/>\n<strong><em>1 John 3:22, \u201cAnd whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> When we do not obey His commandment we ask amiss. (James 4:2-3) <strong><em>1 John 5:14, \u201cNow this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Daniel is an example that demonstrated his confidence in God as he stood against the law not to pray to God. Daniel 6:10 recorded, \u201cNow when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his <strong>custom<\/strong> since early days.\u201d Confidence in God will make man to have expectation with manifestation in God.<br \/>\n<strong><u>SEEK<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Seeking God is finding God that is not secret to those who seek Him with all. <strong><em>Deuteronomy 4:29<\/em><\/strong> pointed how what it takes to seek God, <strong><em>\u201cBut from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Preparing heart for God is a way of seeking God to get answer. <strong><em>Ezra 7: 10,<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>\u201cFor Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Among the ways of receiving from God is: Know God to ask and seek God for unfailing answer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Ask God for the grace to know Him more.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Know God to ask and seek God for unfailing answer.
