WISDOM OF GOD MATTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Wisdom of God is never a failure.<\/p>\n

1 Kings 12<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1Kings 4:29<\/em><\/strong> recorded, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Under haven nothing passes through God which God does not see it before it happens. Are you full of the wisdom of God or you short of the wisdom of God? James 1:5 <\/em><\/strong>encouraged, \u201c<\/em><\/strong>If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Today, ask God for His wisdom. With the wisdom of God, the evidence of God\u2019s hand will be in place upon man\u2019s life. Proverbs 2:10-12<\/em><\/strong> buttressed the importance of wisdom, \u201cWhen wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, To deliver you from the way of evil\u2026\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Solomon was full of wisdom but his son Rehoboam was empty of wisdom. When Rehoboam became king, he was approached by the whole assembly of Israel saying, \u201cYour father made our yoke heavy; now therefore, lighten the burdensome service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put on us, and we will serve you.\u201d (1 Kings 12:4) <\/em><\/strong>Rehoboam responded wisely when he redirected the assembly of Israel to come back in three days. Rehoboam did well by going to inquire answer from the elders, \u201cAnd they spoke to him, saying, \u2018If you will be a servant to these people today, and serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.\u2019\u201d (1 Kings 12:7)
\n<\/em><\/strong>Have you been promoted to a higher position where you are expecting to serve and be served for a better result? It is better to learn from the word of God on how to be a server first before being served as one who is leading.
\nRehoboam did not receive the advice of the elders enough well but turned to consult the young men that grew with him. He was advised, \u201c\u2026speak to this people who have spoken to you, saying, \u2018Your father made our yoke heavy, but you make it lighter on us\u2019\u2014thus you shall say to them: \u2018My little finger shall be thicker than my father\u2019s waist! And now, whereas my father put a heavy yoke on you, I will add to your yoke; my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scourges!\u2019\u201d (1Kings 12:10-11) <\/em><\/strong>Rehoboam rejected the advice of the elders for the young one\u2019s advice which was the evidence that Rehoboam was short of wisdom to lead for the glory of God. Rehoboam\u2019s response was a fall in the beginning of his reign through to the end of his reign. According to the word of God, ask for the wisdom of God and be effective without taking the route of Rehoboam. Wisdom of God is never a failure.<\/p>\n
