{"id":7454,"date":"2018-05-01T13:09:05","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T13:09:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=7454"},"modified":"2018-05-01T13:09:05","modified_gmt":"2018-05-01T13:09:05","slug":"responsibility-not-irresponsibility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=7454","title":{"rendered":"RESPONSIBILITY NOT IRRESPONSIBILITY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Walking in the word of God is responsibility not irresponsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Leviticus 26<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The word of God is true which demands responsibility for man to walk in truth. Before God, lack of a proper sense of responsibility is not acceptable excuse for man not to be walking according to God\u2019s word. It is a man\u2019s responsibility to know and be walking freely under heaven, before God for the glory of God. <strong><em>John 8:32<\/em><\/strong> buttressed, <strong><em>\u201cAnd you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0Knowing and walking in the truth of God\u2019s word is responsibility which is the price for great things for man before God. There is nothing that is comparable to receiving GREAT MERCY of God which is available for one that walks in God\u2019s word. David as an example, he experienced great mercy of God because he walked in the word of God. Solomon testified the great mercy of God for David when he spoke before God as stated, <strong><em>\u201cAnd Solomon said: \u201cYou have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.\u201d (1 Kings 3:6) <\/em><\/strong>God is the same yesterday, today and forever which will reward man\u2019s walk in His word.<br \/>\nResponsibility to be walking in the word of God demands integrity of heart and uprightness which establishes man in all endeavour. David walked in the word of God and God testified of David as a man after His own heart. God went further to testified David\u2019s walk to Solomon one of the sons of David, <strong><em>\u201cNow if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, \u2018You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.\u201d (1 King 9:4-5)<\/em><\/strong> Integrity of heart and uprightness to walk before God only comes with fear of God. <strong><em>Psalm 111:10<\/em><\/strong> said it all, <strong><em>\u201cThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Man must know and understand the fear of God to walk before God in all areas of living God given life.<br \/>\nThe recorded word of God in the bible is the manual of life. Man should engage the word of God by meditating on the word of God day and night and be able to do according to the word of God. Also, the recorded word of God is like a mirror for man to be looking into the word of God as mirror for dressing self and addressing self\u2019s walk before God.<br \/>\nEngage walking before God to gain and retain His presence!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong><em> Ask God to have His way established in your life.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Walking in the word of God is responsibility not irresponsibility.
