{"id":7697,"date":"2018-09-17T01:59:17","date_gmt":"2018-09-17T01:59:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=7697"},"modified":"2018-09-17T01:59:17","modified_gmt":"2018-09-17T01:59:17","slug":"be-responsible-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=7697","title":{"rendered":"BE RESPONSIBLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Be responsible according to the word of God to make failure imposible in life journey.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Joshua 1 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>God expects man\u2019s responsibility accoding to His word. God is not a slave master but a saving master which will not force man to be responsible. However, a failure to be responsible will activate consequence for irresponsible in the word of God. So much to gain by living responsible according to the word of God. Daniel is an example among those who know God, and he lived his life being responsible to God, thereby, his reward for greatness to the glory of God. Daniel knew God as testified in <strong><em>Daniel 11:32, \u201cbut the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Daniel, by knowing God, made himself to be responsible before God, and not defile himself. In his heart, he purposed not to defile himself with delicacies of an unbeliever king. The Bible recorded, <strong><em>\u201cBut Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king\u2019s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore, he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.\u201d (Daniel 1:8) <\/em><\/strong>Daniel was mindful of God; he knew God; thus, he responsibly purposed his heart for God.<br \/>\nDaniel was responsible to God as evidenced by his prayer custom before God. Even as a captive, he became elevated as one of the governors in the land, yet, he became a target for death in the den of lion. It is written, <strong><em>\u201cNow when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.\u201d (Daniel 6:10)<\/em><\/strong> Daniel\u2019s offence for death sentence was his prayer and making supplication before his God which had been his custom since his early days. This custom was his responsibility before God that made him great to the glory of God. Daniel knew God in his days; and was responsible before God.+<br \/>\nIf man will give self to meditating word of God, it will provoke the blessings of responsibility. Our Lord knows the importance of giving self responsibly to meditating His word. After the death of Moses, God emphasized the importance of meditating His word to Joshua stating, <strong><em>\u201cThis Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.\u201d (Joshua 1:8)<\/em><\/strong> God is true to deliver as it is written in His word. The importance of meditating God\u2019s words is emphasized greatly in the Bible, <em><b>\u201cMeditate\u00a0on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.\u201d (1 Timothy\u00a04:15) \u201cI will\u00a0meditate\u00a0on Your precepts and contemplate Your ways.\u201d (Psalm 119:15) <\/b><\/em>Continual meditation on the word of God as a responsibility will make failure impossible in the life of man.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today: <\/strong><em>Ask for the grace to live a life of responsibility according to God\u2019s word.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Be responsible according to the word of God to make failure imposible in life journey.
