FAITH CAPSULE: <\/strong>Give self to keeping God\u2019s word for the experience of His blessing.<\/p>\n

Psalm 119:1-40<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is possible to be receiving teaching in the word of God and not keep the word because of no understanding.\u00a0 With no doubt, to gain understand in the word of God is the key TO BE DISCIPLINED KEEPING word of God. The Psalmist stated, \u201cTeach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.\u201d (Psalm 119:33)<\/em><\/strong> Without doubt, keeping the word of God is keeping self to God. Keeping the word of God is keeping up with God and not become out of God\u2019s track to arrive at God\u2019s divine assignment.
\nKeeping God\u2019s word demands keeping self in God diligently. Failure to be keeping self in Him is keeping in own\u2019s way. God told Joshua to keep Him diligently by meditating His word day and night. Word of God is His commands and His word is His precepts to be kept diligently.
\nDeuteronomy 6:17 <\/em><\/strong>buttressed, \u201cYou shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The word of God is His precepts as stated in Psalm 119:4, \u201cYou have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>With no excuse, Man should know to keep God\u2019s word at His word diligently. It is certain that keeping His word will keep man from failing because God does not fail. God is the only unfailing keeper of man.
\nMan, that is keeping the Word of God will be near to God which is never far from man by His word. Ask self to know if far or not far from God. To be near to God is the evidence of doing as word of God required. Deuteronomy 30:14 <\/em><\/strong>stated, \u201cBut the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Blessed is encased in keeping His testimonies. Those who seek Him with all heart will have no reason to seek help outside of God. Psalm 119:2, \u201cBlessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Doubt can delay, it can deny and set man for destruction. However, keeping God \u2018s word will keep a believer outside of doubt. Doubt is the evidence of lack of faith. Matthew 14:3, \u201cAnd immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, \u201cO you of little faith, why did you doubt?\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>David inquired God\u2019s word to receive word of God which kept him not doubt but went as promised by God. 2 Samuel 5:19<\/em><\/strong> recorded, \u201cSo David inquired of the Lord, saying, \u201cShall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?\u201d And the Lord said to David, \u201cGo up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Listening to God\u2019s word is the evidence of hearing and hearing God\u2019s word to keep man. Listening to hear word of God should not be when man feels like, but man should give self to listening continually. Romans 10:17, \u201cSo then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
