{"id":8042,"date":"2019-04-08T11:44:14","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T11:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8042"},"modified":"2019-04-08T11:44:14","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T11:44:14","slug":"be-specific-in-your-asking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8042","title":{"rendered":"BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR ASKING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Faith Capsule:<\/strong> Specifically, have you been asking or assuming?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Matthew 7:7-12, Luke 18:35-42<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What God says He will do is a done deal for anyone that knows to engage His word faithfully. The Creative creator is true and cannot lie. Psalmist testified, <strong><em>\u201cAs for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.\u201d (Psalm 18:30)<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Proverbs 30:8 stated, \u201cEvery word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.\u201d The book of Hebrews 12:4 buttressed, \u201cFor the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>The word of God is authentic to deliver answers when there is asking!<br \/>\n<strong><em>Isaiah 55:11<\/em><\/strong> buttressed: <strong><em>\u201cFor as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it brings forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Considering the scriptural verses above, why it is so difficult for a man to give self to the word of God?<br \/>\nAre you facing any challenge that seems to be bringing your world to a standstill?<br \/>\nWhy is it so difficult to know that the word of God is the solution for all challenges of the world?<br \/>\nGod, by His word is the only Eternal surgeon; He is the only One who reverses the irreversible and He is the Unchanging changer with solution for the world\u2019s challenges.<br \/>\nWhat is your pressing challenge?<br \/>\nHave you been asking for God\u2019s solution or assuming for solution?<br \/>\n<strong><em>Matthew 7:7-8<\/em><\/strong> records: <strong><em>\u201cAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.\u00a0\u00a0 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Specifically, have you been asking or assuming?<br \/>\nThere is a difference in asking and assuming. Asking is a demonstration of faith. A blind certain man petitioned for his solution before Jesus by crying out to Jesus without asking for his need specifically.<br \/>\nJesus knows our challenging need but He wants us to ask.<br \/>\nHave you been asking or you have only been making noise?<br \/>\nJesus eventually prompted a blind certain man to ask when He questioned him as stated: <strong><em>\u201cSo Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, saying, \u201cWhat do you want Me to do for you?\u201d (Luke 18:40-41)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>In seeking for your need, be specific in your asking but not to assume. In your asking, insist, persist and resist all that hinders you receiving from Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today: <\/strong><em>Ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His word.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faith Capsule: Specifically, have you been asking or assuming?
