FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Celebration of the resurrection of came and gone so, where are you?<\/p>\n

John 11:17-44 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Why is it that disciples did not get it right when Jesus spoke about His resurrection when He was with them in person?
\nThe true answer is: Disciple heard Him but they lack understanding.
\nUnderstanding is the key to hear God and walk according to the word that is heard.
\nPaul prayed the importance of understanding in Colossians 1:9-10, \u201cFor this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/strong>Understanding is the reason to gain knowledge of Jesus’ going through crucifixion and resurrection.
\nResurrection is the truth of Jesus; the power of God.
\nResurrection is the plan and purpose of Jesus for all to live life for the glory of God.
\nJesus introduced Himself stating, \u201cI am the way, the truth\u201d (John 14:6)<\/em><\/strong> Disciples repeatedly heard about the resurrection from Jesus but lack understanding of His resurrection.
\nLack of understanding is what makes a man not to accept and believe the truth of Jesus since the time He was here up till today. John 8:45<\/em><\/strong> Recorded Jesus\u2019 statement as regards to the issue of truth and believe: \u201c…but because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Jesus also said, \u201cI am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.\u201d (John 11:25)
\n<\/em><\/strong>With no doubt, understanding is the key to believe the truth about Jesus’s resurrection.
\nCelebrating resurrection without understanding adds nothing which God does have in His plan and purpose for all man.
\nCelebration of resurrection should not be for the tradition of making money but making a place for the truth of Jesus in one’s life.
\nResurrection is the concluding story of Jesus\u2019 journey to the cross of Calvary for all man’s sake.
\nThe truth of the resurrection is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)<\/em><\/strong> Without any exemption (acclaimed believers of Jesus or none believers) celebrated resurrection without understanding. Word in Hosea 4:6 <\/em><\/strong>identified lack of knowledge saying, \u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Lack of understanding denies having a knowing edge over challenges in this wicked world.
\nResurrection, the truth of Jesus demands understanding from all to please God but not to be pleasing self. Pleasing self but not pleasing God is the evidence of lack of faith before God. Hebrews 11:6<\/em><\/strong> stated, \u201cBut without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Do you have faith with the understanding to be celebrating the resurrection which Jesus paid for man through crucifixion?<\/p>\n
