{"id":8100,"date":"2019-05-21T02:05:22","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T02:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8100"},"modified":"2019-05-21T02:05:22","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T02:05:22","slug":"stop-running-from-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8100","title":{"rendered":"STOP RUNNING FROM GOD!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Faith Capsule:<\/strong> Have you been running away from God&#8217;s calling?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Acts 9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When it is God&#8217;s time to arrest any man for a calling assignment, there is not going to be anywhere to run or hide from God.<br \/>\nHave you been running away from God&#8217;s calling?<br \/>\nRegardless of how long you have been running from God, there is nowhere to hide from God.<br \/>\nTo run or hide from God&#8217;s assignment can be working against the work of God.<br \/>\nSaul (Apostle Paul) was ran against the work of God.<br \/>\nSaul was going against believers to persecute them when God arrested him. The Bible records, Saul\u2019s agenda, <strong><em>\u201cThen Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest\u00a0 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.\u201d(Acts 9:1-2)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Saul (Apostle Paul) purposed evil but God disposed of his evil agenda when he came under the arrest of Jesus.<br \/>\nSaul took to a dark avenue against God but God showed up with light for his arrest.<br \/>\nHe was arrested by a shining light. <strong><em>Acts 9:3 records, \u201cAs he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The light of God around Saul exposed him to arrest him, his ears and eyes were open to God&#8217;s calling.<br \/>\nSaul could not run or hide but responded to the light of God as stated: <strong><em>\u201cAnd he said, \u2018Who are You, Lord?\u2019 Then the Lord said, \u2018I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.\u2019\u201d So he trembling and astonished said, \u2018Lord, what do you want me to do?\u2019 Then the Lord said to him, \u2018Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.\u2019\u201d\u00a0 (Acts 9:5-6) <\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nThe arresting light of God re-routed Saul&#8217;s lifetime journey.<br \/>\nSaul had his name changed from Saul to Paul.<br \/>\nAbove all, the light which arrested Saul empowered him to live his remaining life under unfailing light of God.<br \/>\nWith the light on him, he could not misstep in the calling of God upon his life. Paul\u2019s life could not be stopped by darkness.<br \/>\nThe light that brought Saul out from darkness gave him new spiritual eyesight.<br \/>\nThe light became Paul\u2019s compass as he operated heaven on earth through all his life.<br \/>\nAre you running from God\u2019s calling? With God&#8217;s light, there is no darkness to deny light from exposing one that is running or hiding from God. Now is time for you to stop running from God&#8217;s calling upon your life.<br \/>\nGod will back you up when He calls you. Be encouraged by the word of <strong><em>1 Thessalonians 5:24, &#8220;He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Ask for God&#8217;s light to shine on you that you may fully answer His calling upon your life.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faith Capsule: Have you been running away from God&#8217;s calling?
