{"id":8153,"date":"2019-07-03T13:13:32","date_gmt":"2019-07-03T13:13:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8153"},"modified":"2019-07-03T13:13:32","modified_gmt":"2019-07-03T13:13:32","slug":"live-life-to-please-god-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8153","title":{"rendered":"LIVE LIFE TO PLEASE GOD!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Do you have faith to please God without compromising His command?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 Samuel 2:12-36<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The word of God for all man is His command that is not negotiable and is not to be compromised.<br \/>\nWith no exception, all man should live life according to God\u2019s command to gain and retain a positive relationship with God.<br \/>\nTo be redirecting God\u2019s word to please oneself not to please God is evidence of a lack of understanding to serve God diligently. The word of God is with the command for all man to serve God diligently but not serving Him diligently will only please one that serves self instead of pleasing God.<br \/>\nJesus, the author, and finisher of our faith encourages all not to compromise God&#8217;s word command but to please God as stated, <strong><em>&#8220;&#8230;When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. 29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.\u201d (John 8:28-29)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Are you doing His command to please self?<br \/>\nDo you have faith to please God without compromising His command?<br \/>\nGiving self to the written word of God is to have faith to live life according to His command. <strong><em>Hebrews 11:6<\/em><\/strong> buttressed, <strong><em>\u201cBut without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Consciously or unconsciously do you compromise God&#8217;s command?<br \/>\nBefore God, there is no legitimate excuse not to do according to His word.<br \/>\nTo compromise God&#8217;s command will complicate a man&#8217;s journey of life.<br \/>\nCompromising God will violate man from God.<br \/>\nTo compromise God&#8217;s command is an indication of a lack of fear for God, that will open the door for the devil. <strong><em>Proverbs 8:13<\/em><\/strong> warns, <strong><em>\u201cThe fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>To do as commanded by God is doing good that counts before God. One that knows to do good and not do is compromising God&#8217;s command by giving self to sin. (James 4:17)<br \/>\nWith understanding, all man should know not to compromise God\u2019s word to impress any man (inside or outside of church) and not to impress any family or friends. The Bible records how Eli&#8217;s children compromised God&#8217;s word and Eli&#8217;s failure to train his children enough before God counted against him as compromising God&#8217;s word.<br \/>\nEli\u2019s failure not to act enough against the wrongdoing of his children counted against him and corrupted his destiny.<br \/>\nCome out of all the evil which you know about; refrain from being carried along with compromising God&#8217;s command or stand to correct compromising God&#8217;s command.<br \/>\nEli compromised, and his destiny was corrupted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Ask for God\u2019s grace to enable your living life not to compromise His command.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Do you have faith to please God without compromising His command? 1 Samuel 2:12-36 The word of God for all man is His command that is not negotiable and is not to be compromised.
