{"id":8193,"date":"2019-07-30T13:02:48","date_gmt":"2019-07-30T13:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8193"},"modified":"2019-07-30T13:02:48","modified_gmt":"2019-07-30T13:02:48","slug":"give-thanks-to-god-continually","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8193","title":{"rendered":"GIVE THANKS TO GOD CONTINUALLY!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Give thanks to God for all things and all things will work out good.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Psalm 107<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a man\u2019s responsibility to be giving God thanks with understanding.<br \/>\nUnderstanding comes when one gains wisdom in the word of God.<br \/>\nWith wisdom in place, understanding will deliver one to having a known edge (Knowledge) in the journey of life.<br \/>\nGiving thanks with praise demands understanding as <strong><em>Psalm 47:7<\/em><\/strong> records, <strong><em>\u201cFor God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Are you giving thanks without praise or praising without thanks? Praising God and thanking God cannot be separated.<br \/>\nGod is a jealous God; He is God with the expectation to always receive constant thanks from all man.<br \/>\nJesus demonstrated an expectation of receiving thanks when He healed ten lepers but only one out of the ten lepers returned with thanksgiving to Him.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Luke 17:14-18<\/em><\/strong> documents, <strong><em>\u201cSo when He saw them, He said to them, \u201cGo, show yourselves to the priests.\u201d And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.\u00a0 So, Jesus answered and said, \u201cWere there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?\u00a0 So, Jesus answered and said, \u201cWere there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Are you one that is not returning thanks to God?<br \/>\nThere should be no one that does not return to God with thanksgiving continually. With understanding, giving thanks to God for all things will prompt all things to work together for good.<br \/>\nGiving thanks to God should not be at your comfortable time, pleasing self but not God.<br \/>\nGiving thanks to God is a sacrifice before God. With understanding, sacrificial giving thanks to God is not thinking thanks but offering thanksgiving that is acceptable before God, <strong><em>1 Chronicles 23:30<\/em><\/strong> identifies sacrificial thanks <strong><em>\u201cto stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening\u2026\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Are you offering sacrificial thanks to God with understanding?<br \/>\n<strong><em>Leviticus 29:22<\/em><\/strong> records, <strong><em>\u201cAnd when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>David engaged a costly sacrifice for his sin of the census he conducted over the Israelites, which is against God&#8217;s command not to count His people.<br \/>\n<strong><em>2 Samuel 24-25<\/em><\/strong> records about David&#8217;s demonstration of costly sacrifice, <strong><em>\u201cThen the king said to Araunah, \u201cNo, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.\u201d David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. And David built there an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Will you start offering God a costly sacrifice, to provoke God&#8217;s visitation for the manifestation of expectation?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong><em> Ask from God that giving His thanks continually will become your way of life.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE: Give thanks to God for all things and all things will work out good.
