Jonah 1, 2<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you have a reason to cry before God?
\nCrying out to God is not the evidence of weakness but communicating with caring God.
\nGod is a caring God; He is mindful of man to give heed to the crying of man before Him.
\nPsalm 8:4<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0testifies,\u00a0“What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?”
\n<\/em><\/strong>The Israelites cried out to God,\u00a0\u201cNow it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out, and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.\u201d (Exodus 2:23)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The cry of the Israelites gained the attention of God for their deliverance.
\nYour cry out to God will bring your deliverance from the bondage of the wicked world.
\nJonah’s disobedience to God’s word was the cause of his cry for the mercy of God over his life. needed to cry out to God due to his self-inflicted affliction.\u00a0Jonah 2:1-2 records<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0\u201cThen Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the fish\u2019s belly. And he said: \u201cI cried out to the LORD because of my affliction, and He answered me. \u201cOut of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Jonah, a prophet of God’s disobedience positioned him for self-destruction.
\nGod called on Jonah,\u00a0\u201cArise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.\u201d But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD…\u201d (Jonah 1:2-3)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Just like Jonah, have you taken to disobedience in the calling of God over your life?
\nGod is a caring God, giving heed to the cry of His children but it is not encouraging to be giving self to disobedience in His word.
\nIs it your title or position that is holding you back from crying out to God, for His mercy?
\nNo man is above crying out before God, for His mercy where there is a need.
\nDavid, a man after God\u2019s own heart cried out to God for God\u2019s attention in the face his challenge. David testified,\u00a0\u201cIn my distress, I called upon the LORD, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, even to His ears.\u201d (Psalm 18:6)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Cry out to God in time of distress. God was not a partial God to deny the crying of blind Bartimaeus. The bible records about Bartimaeus cry to gain God’s attention,\u00a0\u201cAnd when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, \u201cJesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!\u201d Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, \u201cSon of David, have mercy on me!\u201d (Mark 10:47-48)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>The blind man Bartimaeus cried out but could not be quiet.
\nDo not be quiet to deny God\u2019s attention for your deliverance.<\/p>\n
