FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong> Disregarding God is snubbing God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebrews 12<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God alone has brought you this far in the journey of life, the testimony of giving regards to God instead of snubbing God.
Are you snubbing God by not looking up to Him?
There is no reasonable excuse to be looking outside of God, for His goodness and mercy over your life.\u00a0Hebrews 12:2<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>records for learning to understand and know that,\u00a0\u201cLooking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0For every reasonable acclaimed believer that is not looking up to God is taking a position of snubbing God.
In your journey of life this far, looking out to see the works created by His word testifies that God is near, the reason not to be snubbing God continually.\u00a0Psalm 75:1 testifies, \u201c\u2026For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Give your attention to God for His creation of wondrous works by His word.\u00a0
Focusing on God to be hearing from Him is not snubbing directions in God\u2019s word.\u00a0
Focusing on God by not snubbing God\u2019s word is engaging a glorious destiny.\u00a0
Disengaging God\u2019s word is snubbing God for self-destruction. One with the choice of snubbing the word of God is snubbing one\u2019s glorious destiny.
Are you snubbing God, positioning yourself for destruction?
Among experiences of snubbing God for glorious destiny are written for our learning through the pages of the Bible.
Doubting God is snubbing God:\u00a0
God does not waste His word, He does not exaggerate or deceive, and there is no reason for anyone to doubt Him.
Lack of faith is snubbing God. Jesus identified doubt of Peter when he was about to drown in his attempt to walk on the water as Jesus did.\u00a0Matthew 14:31\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records,\u00a0“…Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, \u201cO you of little faith, why did you doubt?\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Believers want to speak with power, to move a mountain but full of doubt, snubbing God’s word.
Does that speak to you?
Disregarding God’s word is snubbing God:
Watching and praying is the word of God’s direction for all to obey without ceasing as\u00a01 Thessalonian 5:17 admonishes,<\/strong>\u00a0“pray without ceasing.”\u00a0
Just like Apostle Paul, are living a life of prayer continually, according to God’s word? Paul buttresses in Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.\u201d
Apostle Paul gave himself to prayer according to God’s word, once he could not become a victim of prison life.\u00a0
Paul’s journey of life records how unceasing prayer delivered him,\u00a0\u201cBut at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone\u2019s chains were loosed.\u201d (Acts 16:25-26)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0
Giving self to prayer is focusing on God, not snubbing God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
