{"id":8768,"date":"2020-10-09T15:14:32","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T15:14:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8768"},"modified":"2020-10-09T15:49:56","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T15:49:56","slug":"your-confession","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8768","title":{"rendered":"YOUR CONFESSION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:&nbsp;<\/strong>Take charge to confess positively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2 Kings 7:1-20<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding is the ability to listen carefully and be in charge of what comes out of the mouth.\u00a0<br \/>Truly understanding is a wellspring of life to one who has it. (Proverbs 16:22)\u00a0<br \/>Are you considering the importance of listening ability and not live as a potential fool?\u00a0<br \/>Bible warns,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cA fool\u2019s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.\u201d (Proverbs 18:7)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Evidently, by the word of God, the mouth can indeed lead to destruction, but understanding can lead one mouth out not to experience destruction.<br \/>Bible also warns in\u00a0<strong><em>Proverbs 13:3<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cHe who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Take note and know that understanding will cause the mouth to preserve life.\u00a0<br \/>With understanding, are you taking charge of your mouth not to react negatively to troubling challenges or to confess negative in the place of positive?<br \/>For example, during the time of the prophet of God, Elisha, a severe famine reduced the land to a place of lack.\u00a0<br \/>While the shortage of needs was rampant across the land,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThen Elisha said, \u201cHear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: \u2018Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.\u2019\u201d (2Kings 7:1)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>In response to the word of Elisha, with doubt, one of the officers of Elisha responded negatively to question Elisha by asking how a breakthrough can be possible in the face of severe famine.\u00a0<br \/>The officer was without understanding and failed to control his mouth by stating negative but took the place of a fool. The officer foolishly responded to Elisha\u2019s prophecy when he spoke out of his mouth with a lack of understanding,<strong><em>\u00a0\u201c\u2026Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be (2 Kings 7:2)?\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Imagine the demonstration of a lack of understanding that caused doubt from the officer.<br \/>Do you doubt what God can do?\u00a0<br \/>Can you imagine yourself waking up in the position of plenty instead of waking up in the place of famine?\u00a0<br \/>With understanding, if you know that God is still on the throne, then believe that miracle is not beyond God. Just as Elisha has said, the officer saw with his eyes, but could not touch.<strong><em>\u00a02 Kings 7:20\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records the end of the officer,<strong><em>\u00a0\u201cAnd so it happened to him, for the people trample him in the gate, and he died.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0God opened the window of plenty; the lack no longer exists. The officer with no control of his mouth confessed negative, and destruction became his portion.<br \/>Jesus was pointing out the possibility of God when He stated,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201c\u2026With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.\u201d (Matthew 19:26)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0With understanding, know to be in charge of your mouth with a confession.<br \/>With your positive confession over negative, the possibility in the place of impossibility is not beyond God to answer for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Ask God to deliver you from lack of understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:&nbsp;Take charge to confess positively. 2 Kings 7:1-20 Understanding is the ability to listen carefully and be in charge of what comes out of the mouth.\u00a0Truly understanding is a wellspring of life to one who has it.
