{"id":8798,"date":"2020-10-31T15:25:20","date_gmt":"2020-10-31T15:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8798"},"modified":"2020-10-31T15:25:20","modified_gmt":"2020-10-31T15:25:20","slug":"receive-and-believe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8798","title":{"rendered":"RECEIVE AND BELIEVE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0<\/strong>Receive and believe in the living word of God that is the source of joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus\u2019 speech to His disciples confirmed that in His word is the source of joy when He said,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThese things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.\u201d (John 15:11)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>John also confirms the word of Jesus as a source of joy, stating,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cAnd these things we write to you that your joy may be full.\u201d (1 John 1:4)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Paul the apostle buttresses,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201c\u2026Christ is preached; and in this, I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.\u201d (Philippians 1:18)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>If you are one that allows the entrance of the word of God, retain and be full of the joy of the Lord in your life.<br \/>What is taking away the joy of the Lord?<br \/>One with sorrow does not have joy.<br \/>Choose joy to deny sorrow.<br \/>Nehemiah encourages against sorrow in his word to the Israelites when he said, do not sorrow, for the\u00a0joy\u00a0of the Lord is your\u00a0strength. <strong><em>(Nehemiah 8:10)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Are you experiencing sorrow?<br \/>Receive and believe in the living word of God that is the source of joy.<br \/>Exchange sorrow for joy to be strength-full, not to become a victim of the wicked world.<br \/>One that is hearing and hearing the word of God is bound to be full of joy to access the presence of God. The psalmist testifies, \u201c<strong><em>You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.\u201d (Psalm 16:11)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Has He promised and not do?\u00a0<br \/>In the place of joy, one with joy should not have a place for worrying in the world. One that has received and believes in the word should have no place for worrying but rejoicing because Jesus, the word of God, source of joy commands,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cTherefore do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.\u201d (Matthew 6:31-33)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>As one that claims to have accepted Christ, to live the purpose of God will have the strength of God that is rooted in joy.<br \/>What is it that is denying the joy of God in your life?<br \/>In a time of every challenging situation, engage the word of God by knowing that challenging situations shall eventually work together for good for you that is with the presence of God.<br \/>Be living life by His word, then joy and rejoicing will become your portion regardless of challenging things in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Ask God that the word of God to become established in you.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Receive and believe in the living word of God that is the source of joy.
