{"id":8959,"date":"2021-05-12T16:37:14","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T16:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8959"},"modified":"2021-05-12T16:37:14","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T16:37:14","slug":"live-for-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=8959","title":{"rendered":"LIVE FOR GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Build yourself in God living by His word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Genesis 3<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God made man, and He gave commandment to man by His word. Engaging the word of God is the expected responsibility for all before God. Are you responsible before God by obeying the word of God to build you up for the glory of God?<br \/>The apostle Paul speaks to all the reason to be build-up,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cSo now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Responsibility before God leads to a relationship with God.\u00a0<br \/>Responsibility to be living a righteous life before God will count before as a believer just like Abraham.\u00a0<strong><em>James 2:23 records, \u201c\u2026Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.\u201d And he was called the friend of God.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>Abraham lives a life as a responsible one before God to have a relationship with God.<br \/>God gave Adam word for his responsibility when He said,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cAnd the Lord God commanded the man, saying, \u201cOf every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.\u201d (Genesis 2:16-17)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Adam was not responsible in the word of God when he moved by the irresponsible conversation of Eve, his wife with the serpent (devil).\u00a0<strong><em>Genesis 3:1-3\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>recorded the conversation between serpent and Eve,<strong><em>\u00a0\u201cNow the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, \u201cHas God indeed said, \u2018You shall not eat of every tree of the garden\u2019?\u201d And the woman said to the serpent, \u201cWe may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, \u2018You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>A failure by Eve for not communicating the word of God with the serpent was an irresponsible conversation, lack of responsibility that broke up the relationship of Adam and Eve with God. God sent Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden.<br \/>Jesus demonstrated the responsibility of communicating the word of God to avoid the evil devices at all times. The same devil approached Jesus, but Jesus responded with the word of God, unlike Eve with the conversation out of the word of God.\u00a0<strong><em>Matthew 4:1-4<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records the response of Jesus,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cNow when the tempter came to Him, he said, \u201cIf You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.\u201d But He answered and said, \u201cIt is written, \u2018Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Responsibility before God demands to be living by the word of God in every way not to become a victim of evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:\u00a0<\/strong><em>Ask that God will enable you to be living by the word of God.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Build yourself in God living by His word.
