{"id":9053,"date":"2021-07-12T17:59:32","date_gmt":"2021-07-12T17:59:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9053"},"modified":"2021-07-12T17:59:32","modified_gmt":"2021-07-12T17:59:32","slug":"only-to-god-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9053","title":{"rendered":"ONLY TO GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Give yourself to prayer before God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2 Kings 20<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Praying before God for challenges that need to subsided demands trust and hope to experience deliverance.\u00a0<br \/>Prayer is to seek God diligently.<br \/>Prayer demands persistence to get a result.\u00a0<br \/>Are you experiencing a challenge that is resisting continuous prayer?\u00a0<br \/>Continue prayer without ceasing, and it is the way out of challenges.<br \/>For self-deliverance, prayer is an avenue to experience the visitation of God.\u00a0<br \/>In the pages of the bible, it is evident that prayer is key to self-deliverance.\u00a0<br \/>Hezekiah engaged in prayer to experience self-deliverance.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>2Kings 20:1\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>document,<strong><em>\u00a0\u201cIn those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, \u201cThus says the Lord: \u2018Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Hezekiah did not seek deliverance from no man but engaged in prayer before God for his self-deliverance from sudden death.\u00a0<br \/>Hezekiah reminded God about his walk and loyal heart before God; he wept before God. God responded to the prayer of Hezekiah to send Isaiah \u201c<strong><em>\u2026I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely, I will heal you. On the third day, you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.\u201d (2Kings 20:5-6)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Truly, Hezekiah prayed before God to gain self-deliverance from sudden death.<br \/>Just like Hezekiah, Hannah vigorously prayed in time of her barrenness. Hannah was praying when Eli mistook her for drunkenness.<br \/><strong><em>1Samuel 1:12-14<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cAnd it happened, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli watched her mouth. Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore, Eli thought she was drunk. So, Eli said to her, \u201cHow long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Hannah responded to Eli that she was not drunk but poured out her soul before God.<br \/>\u00a0Eli answered Hannah,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cGo in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.\u201d (1 Samuel 1:17)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Hannah prayed vigorously, conceived, and bore Samuel.\u00a0<br \/>Are you praying?\u00a0<br \/>Jesus demonstrated the need for prayer when He prayed for the deliverance of Peter from faith failure in\u00a0<strong><em>Luke 22:32, \u201cBut I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail\u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Through prayer, Paul experienced self-deliverance from prison.<br \/>Paul testifies,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cAnd the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever.
