{"id":9340,"date":"2021-10-26T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9340"},"modified":"2021-10-25T22:16:09","modified_gmt":"2021-10-25T22:16:09","slug":"fear-sinks-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9340","title":{"rendered":"FEAR SINKS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULES:\u00a0<\/strong>Fear is not of God but sinks one with no faith.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2 Kings 6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among forces that will reduce one as it reduces many in the Bible is giving self to fear instead of having faith in God.<br \/>From the book of Genesis to Revelation, there are recordings of ones in position or walked in the nearness of God but yet give self to fear ignorantly.<br \/>For example, lack of clarity of sight physically, spiritually by the servant of Elisha aroused fear of the enemy that reduced him but, the prayer of Elisha delivered him not to end life wasted.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>2 Kings 6:15-17<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0documents the fear of enemies by the servant of Elisha and the intervention of the prayer of Elisha,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, \u201cAlas, my master! What shall we do?\u201d 16 So he answered, \u201cDo not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.\u201d 17 And Elisha prayed and said, \u201cLord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.\u201d Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Fear is not of God belongs to the wicked one as a weapon to reduce one to destroy.
