{"id":9409,"date":"2021-11-23T15:01:53","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T15:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9409"},"modified":"2021-11-23T15:01:53","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T15:01:53","slug":"who-joins-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9409","title":{"rendered":"WHO JOINS YOU?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Who or what joins with you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Numbers 14<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Israelites could not claim the promise of God as they failed to disengage the mixed multitude that joined their journey to the Promised Land.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>Exodus 12:37-38<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0documents the journey of the Israelites with the mixed multitude:\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThen the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children. A mixed multitude went up with them\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>For the Israelites, a mixed-up multitude is an unholy mix-up.\u00a0<br \/>At the departure of the Israelites from bondage to the Promised Land, they could not disengage the mixed multitude.<br \/>As they progressed on the journey, the effect of mixed multitude caused trouble for the Israelites. The Bible records in\u00a0<strong><em>Numbers 11:4-6, \u201cNow the mixed multitudes who were among them yielded to intense craving; so, the children of Israel also wept again and said: \u201cWho will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>The initiation of Israelites complaining before God was the complaint of the mixed multitude.\u00a0<br \/>God responds to the complaint of Israelites,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cHow long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, \u2018As I live,\u2019 says the LORD, \u2018just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.\u201d (Numbers 14:27-30)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Interestingly, Pharaoh and his chariots could not deny the breakthrough of over four hundred years of the Israelites in Egypt but the mixed multitude denied them.<br \/>The Red Sea failed to hold back the Israelites from breaking forth, but the complaint of the mixed multitude prompted the failure for the Israelites not to arrive at the Promised Land.\u00a0<br \/>Are you on the course or off course for your breakthrough in the journey of the promise of God?\u00a0<br \/>Here are some warning signals that mixed multitude is your company as you journey:<br \/>Mix-multitude will keep reminding you of the past when you need to focus on where the Lord is taking you.<br \/>Mix-multitude will only cause you to crave for want in the place where the need is met, with no lack.<br \/>Mix-multitude will give to complaining instead of complimenting God.<br \/>Mix-multitude will cause one to worry in the place of worship.<br \/>Consciously or unconsciously, who is the mix-multitude of your life journey?<br \/>Your mix-multitude is possible to be in numbers or not in number.<br \/>Your mix-multitude is possibly your closest that is near or in far.<br \/>Know to deny mix-multitude not to derail your life journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;Ask that God will deliver you from mixed-multitude.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Who or what joins with you?
