{"id":9489,"date":"2021-12-23T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9489"},"modified":"2021-12-22T18:11:59","modified_gmt":"2021-12-22T18:11:59","slug":"obedient-to-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9489","title":{"rendered":"OBEDIENT TO GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Obedient to the word of God commits to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Genesis 19<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Day after day, week after weeks, month after month, and year after year is a journey.<br \/>The journey demands walking with God.<br \/>God gives every moment to be alive to walk with God, walking before Him.<br \/>Commitment to the word of God is giving self to walk before God without ceasing.<br \/>A commitment to the living word of God is the unfailing route in the journey of life.<br \/>A believer without commitment to the word of God is a religion with no relationship with God.\u00a0<br \/>Does that sound like you?<br \/>Are you truthful to yourself, living by the word of God, walking with God?<br \/>Are you deceiving with demonstration walking with God but walking away from God?<br \/>One with a commitment to the word of God is with an understanding of seeking God diligently, walking with God.\u00a0<br \/>One that seeks God diligently walks, sits, and stands in the word of God, the evidence of commitment to God and to become blessed by God.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>Psalm 1:1-2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>confirms:\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cBlessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law, he meditates day and night.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>As an acclaimed believer of God, let your commitment be rooted in God, not seeking the counsel of the ungodly.<br \/>Failure can be the lack of commitment to God in His word.\u00a0<br \/>Giving self to self-convince in the place of commitment to God will not arrive at the promise of God.<br \/>Commitment is not convenient, but it is self-sacrifice before God.<br \/>One that compromises the word of God is with no commitment.<br \/>Discipline works with commitment but doubting will deny not to be committed.\u00a0<br \/>With doubt, fear will relegate faith.\u00a0<br \/>One with a lack of commitment to the word of God is not mindful of God.<br \/>Lack of commitment to the word of God will lead to confusion in the journey of life.<br \/>Lack of commitment to God is looking away from God.<br \/>The word of God directed Lot and his wife for deliverance from destruction,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201c\u2026Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.\u201d (Genesis 19:17)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Lot was committed to the word of God, but his wife could not commit to the word of God for her deliverance from destruction.\u00a0<br \/>The Bible records the consequence for the wife of Lot,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cBut his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.\u201d (Genesis 19:26)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Are you sincerely committed to the word of God?\u00a0<br \/>In the journey of life, be committed to God and remain connected to the promise of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Ask God to take charge of the life He has given you.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Obedient to the word of God commits to God.
