FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Among sacrifices to God for His blessing is giving Him thanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 100<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deuteronomy 5:8<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records the declaration of God,\u00a0\u201c\u2026For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God\u2026\u201d God is a jealous God.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
Deuteronomy 32:21\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records the reaction of God to the wrong sacrifice of Israelites,\u00a0“They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols…”\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
It must be clear and settled in all to know that God pays attention to receiving sacrifice that will provoke jealousy that moves Him to bless.\u00a0
Among sacrifices to God for His blessing is giving Him thanks.
Hebrews 13:15<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0buttressed,\u00a0“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
Begin to provoke God for His attention with a continual offer of thanks.\u00a0
Giving thanks to God is not thinking thanks, but giving thanks.
God alone is worthy of constant and consistent thanks.
Are you one that can count the number of thanks offered to God in a day?\u00a0
The ability to count is evidence of a shortage of giving thanks to God.\u00a0
God is worthy of an uncountable number of thanksgivings every moment.\u00a0
Are you in place thinking thanks before God?\u00a0
Thinking thanks before God is not the same as thanking Him, but a muted thanksgiving that is not worth it for a Worthy God.
For Worthy caring God, the Bible identifies thanksgiving to learn from:\u00a0\u201cAnd when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will.\u201d (Leviticus 22:29)<\/em><\/strong>
Free-will thanksgiving demands shout joy to God and declare His works with rejoicing.
Psalm 95:2<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records,\u00a0\u201cLet us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0
Psalm 107:22 \u201cLet them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
Another free will of giving thanks to God is the character of those who rely on God.
Jeremiah 30:19\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records,\u00a0\u201cThen out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
\u201cBut I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving.\u201d (Jonah 2:9)<\/em><\/strong>
Giving thanks with a loud voice was demonstrated by Jesus when Lazarus came out of death to life,\u00a0\u201c\u2026Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, \u201cFather, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.\u201d Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, \u201cLazarus, come forth!\u201d And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, \u201cLoose him, and let him go.\u201d (John 11:41-44)<\/em><\/strong>
With understanding, give God thanks as a reasonable sacrifice to provoke God for His blessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
