{"id":9692,"date":"2022-03-18T02:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-18T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9692"},"modified":"2022-03-17T21:43:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T21:43:45","slug":"look-up-to-god-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faithprescription.com\/?p=9692","title":{"rendered":"LOOK UP TO GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAITH CAPSULE:<\/strong>\u00a0Are you looking up to God or looking outside of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Exodus 14<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Psalmist knows to be looking up to God.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>Psalm 119:132<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>One that looks up to God will know to call for God to look upon self.<br \/>Looking up to God is waiting on God.<br \/>God acts to wait for those that wait on Him.\u00a0<br \/>Are you looking up to God or looking outside of God for His intervention?<br \/>One that does not wait on God will be living life in worrying.<br \/>To become worried and troubled in the face of challenge is the evidence of not worshiping God.<br \/>One that looks at confronting challenges shall misplace focus on God for His divine intervention.\u00a0<br \/>The Israelites looked away from God in the confronting challenge.<br \/><strong><em>Exodus 14:10-12<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0records:\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cAnd when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the LORD. Then they said to Moses, \u201cBecause there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, \u2018Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians\u2019? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Do the verses above speak to you?\u00a0<br \/>The miracle of God brought the Israelites out of the bondage of Egypt but fear of the enemy took over the Israelites.<br \/>The Israelites were worried and troubled to confess negatively.<br \/>Solution for challenges demands to focus on God.\u00a0<br \/>Are you focusing on God?<br \/>Despite all the powerful teachings of Jesus against fear and worrying, the disciples locked themselves up in fear of the Jews.\u00a0<br \/><strong><em>John 20:19\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>records,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cThen, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, \u201cPeace be with you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>While the disciples were locked in fear, Jesus showed up and declared peace.<br \/>Faith in Jesus will give peace in the place of trouble for those who keep the focus on Him.\u00a0<br \/>Jesus had spoken peace,\u00a0<strong><em>&#8220;&#8230;He showed them His hands and His side. then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.\u201d (John 20:20)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Seeing the mark opened up the disciples to come out of fear.\u00a0<br \/>To believe is to see crucifixion the marks were registered on Jesus for all to have life abundantly.<br \/>Ignore the fear that is going on around the world.<br \/>Get to know that looking up to God is enough for deliverance and preservation of the wicked world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Ask not to be a victim of the fear of the wicked world.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITH CAPSULE:\u00a0Are you looking up to God or looking outside of God?
