BE A LEADER FROM GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Humility makes you a leader from God.

Matthew 26:47-56

Your title is not your task but to serve your people. As an acclaimed believer of God, be living according to the word of God. For example, as a believer of the word of God, live life with humility outside or inside of the church. As a believer of the word of God, with humility live as a server of the people you are in position to lead.
As an acclaimed believer of God, do you have humility?
To be a leader is to be the one that serves not to take a position as god. Jesus was mindful of the things of God and could not be a vessel of deception. God exalted Jesus and God gave Him a name that is above all names. (Philippians 2:9) Lying, deception and manipulation should not be the character of a titled leader. As a believer that is living by the word of God how do you handle your leadership role?
Does your role as a leader separates you or blends you with those that you serve? Can you be identified with the people that you are leading? Your identity as a leader that serves should not only be in your attire or material but in humility. Jesus taught humility, He demonstrated humility and at the time of His arrest it was evident that He lived and ministered humility. When it was time for Judas to betray Jesus, it was through kissing. Jesus was so much identical with His disciples. Matthew 26: 48-49 “Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him.” Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.”  Jesus’ humility extended to His appearance; He was so blend with His disciples and He could not be identified except with a kiss.
What does humility mean to you?
Humility can be described as a condition of being humble. One that is humble is courteously respectful; not proud or arrogant. Humility is what preserves the soul. Psalm 69:32 buttressed, The humble shall see this and be glad; and you who seek God, your hearts shall live.” Humility is one of the keys to live life as a true believer. It takes humility for man to think of others before thinking of self. Apostle Paul bolstered, “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3) Do you constantly think of yourself more than how you think of others?
Without doubt, humility is a state of mind well pleasing to God. Humility is a branch of faith and without faith God is not pleased. Be humble and live life to the glory of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to live life with humility as your character.

SATAN IS A WICKED LIAR

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you opening yourself for the Satan?

Job 1

Power belongs unto God. Psalm 66:3 testified, “…How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.” It is good to know that power belongs to our God. While the devil walks about, God sits on His throne to see all. The book of 2 Chronicles 16:9 encouraged us, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” Power belongs to God but is not for us to abuse the privilege of having God on our side as a caring father. The book of 1 Peter 5:8 warned, “Be sober; be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” God shall never leave us if we are focus on Him.
Do you fear God enough to continually acknowledge Him for protection of His hand upon your life? Having a loyal heart is relying on Him. Those who rely on God are the ones who fear God.
It is recorded in the book of Job 1:6, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.” Can you imagine Satan having access to the gathering of the sons of God? The presence of Satan’s at the gathering of sons of God was questioned as he declared that he was going to and fro on the earth; he was walking back and forth on it (Job 1:7). For Satan, it is business as usual to be looking for someone to devour. Since the days of the Bible, Satan has been going to and fro looking for someone to devour. Today he is still looking for whom to devour and tomorrow he will continue to look for someone to devour until his time is up. The devil is at work and he has not given up his hope in attempt to frustrate the business of the kingdom just as he has been doing since he was driven out of heaven.
Devil was in his business of devouring man when he entered Judas a disciple of Jesus Christ. Mark 14:10 recorded, “Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them.  And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him.” Indeed, when it was time for Satan to work through Judas, it was through a convenient way. Judas gave Jesus up with a kiss. Are you opening yourself for the Satan? It does not matter where you are or what you do, if your walk is short before God, the Satan will take advantage to devour you. Do not make yourself available for the devourer.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace not to become a victim of the devil.

IT IS POSSIBLE!

FAITH CAPSULE: This life, it is possible to live life for the glory of God.

Psalm 27, Revelation 4

God’s relocation for us is to place us in the center of His divine assignment for the life He has given us. Our only way to the center of His divine assignment for us is to seek Him. David, a man after God’s heart revealed what it demands for man to be positioned at God’s divine assignment for man. Psalm 27:4 stated it, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple.”
What is it to seek Him?
Seeking means: to go in search that is discover by searching. Seeking demands commitment. Often, seeking can be labor and not be fun. Labor is productive activity, especially for the sake of gain. Seeking is to strive or work hard toward a goal. Believer of God is to obey God’s command as stated, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy 6:5) David said it all stating that, his desire of the Lord demands seeking God.
Is it your desire to give self to seeking God and knowing that seeking God is not a funfair? Jesus pointed out about seeking God, But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33) Giving self to seeking God continually will place man to be dwelling in the house of the Lord all days of life.
Is it your desire to be dwelling in the house of the Lord all the days of your life just as David mentioned in the above verse? Truly, it is possible to give self unto God like David.
David also pointed it out that dwelling in the house of the Lord is to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. Beauty of the Lord is nothing but the Light. Jesus is His Light. Word of God stated, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12) “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) Jesus is the indescribable beauty light of God.
By the will of God, our existence and created is for His glory. (Revelation 4:11) We are living for His glory. From this day begin to desire for the Lord, seek Him and behold His beauty (His light) to be reflecting His light in this dark and wicked world. Live life for the glory of God!

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to be seeking Him and live for His glory.

GOD RELOCATED YOU

FAITH CAPSULE: Indeed, it is the privilege of God to be relocated into a new month.

Psalm 107, 150

This month of the year is a relocation of God for us from the first month of the year. Indeed, it is the privilege of God to be relocated into a new month. Giving thanks and praising God for such a privilege is worthy. Are you one that is thinking thanks in the place of giving thanks? For relocation into a new month, adapt to opening mouth giving thanks to God instead of thinking thanks. Thanking God is the evidence of one that knows to think.
Psalm 105:1 testified giving thanks, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 107:1, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” 2 Samuel 22:50 realized the need for giving thanks to God as stated, “Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.”
In giving thanks, burst out in praising God for the grace of breath. Psalm 150:6 said it all as stated, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord” It is not a right but privilege of God to see a new day; to see a new week and to see a new month. Why not turn away from your challenges and turn aside to God giving Him a heart full of thanks and praise. God is to be praised with understanding. (Psalm 47:7) Praising with understanding is the praise that inhabits the presence of God. Today, if you will turn unto God with praise, glorifying His name He will give you uncommon attention. He is God that is mindful of His children.
God is to be glorified with thanks giving and praise as often as possible. Failure not to be giving thanks and praise is the evidence to have forgotten God. Psalm 50:22-23 stated, “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Understand that it is important to be glorifying God with thanks giving and praise because of His mercy. Today understand to glorify Him because of His truth and your challenges will not have reason to mockingly ask, “So where is your God?”
More than ever before, declare this month your month of relocation of your month to live to the glory of God.        Give God thanks, praise to testify His goodness!
Psalm 30:12 buttressed it all, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Give Him thanks with no exemption of praise.

Prayer for today: Ask God to incline His ear to you and be glorified in your life this month.

YOUR NEW RELOCATION

FAITH CAPSULE: Your new month or season is your new relocation by the mercy of God.

Genesis 19

It is written, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness is great toward us and the truth of the Lord endures forever.” (Psalm 117) Mercy of God was in place for Lot and his family but Lot’s wife failed to see the mercy of God in her relocation. As an acclaimed believer, do you see God in your relocation? Mercy of God has relocated you into your new season or a new month. Your new month is moving you forward.
A failure to see that God is moving you forward is the passage to self-destruction. Think of it and know that challenges you have carried through the past month into new month shall not be permanent. Believe it, confess it and know that, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) Your new month shall not run out without your God’s visitation for your deliverance in Jesus name. Regardless of any provoking challenge in your new month, refreshing hand of God shall answer upon your life fully. In this new month, your relocation, you are to burst out with constant thanks giving to God. Know it that all things work together for good when giving thanks for all things are in place in man’s life. Embrace where you are with thanks giving to God and allow the past to be in the past. Glorify God so that He may be glorified in the life He has given you. Having life today is not because of merit but because of His mercy. Having life today is not a right but because of the privilege of God.
Those who live by faith will see in faith and move by faith knowing that the truth of the Lord endures forever. The truth of God is in His word. He gave His word to warn Lot stating, “…Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17)
An escape from self-destruction demands setting sight on the Unchanging changer, the Commander of commands. The word of God was too difficult for Lot’s wife to obey because she could not look away from her past, her comfort zone. The Bible recorded that Lot’s wife looked back behind him and she became a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19:26) Could it be that your relocation is God’s way of repositioning you for better? What is it in your past that cannot be forgotten and is causing you not to see God ordering your step? Looking back is an evidence of worry instead of glorifying God. God is moving you forward, relocating you in a new month. God’s deliverance and His preservation will answer for you as your portion in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Ask God to take over your days and your moments for His name to be glorified over your life.
