FAITH CAPSULE: Are you considering way to be humble in this challenging trouble.

1 King 21

Among ways to keep eye on God and not to become a faith failure in this challenging trouble is humility. To be humble is important to run the race of life without becoming a vessel of faith failure. Man must know God to be humble and not to be a vessel faith failure. Are you humble? It is written, “To be humble in the sight of God is to be lifted up by God.” (James 4:10) God does not oversee the humble ones but He is paying attention to the humble ones. Through the Bible, God repeatedly reversed irreversible when humility takes place in the life of man. Ahab was among many with humility before God to experience God’s mercy which reversed irreversible. When Ahab’s wicked ways positioned him in irreversible consequence before God, he became humble before God. God recognized Ahab’s humility and He reversed Ahab from calamity consequence. 1 King 21:29 recorded God’s response to Ahab’s humility, “See how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the calamity in his days. In the days of his son I will bring the calamity on his house.”
God is consistent to His word if we are committed to His word by keeping eye on God in time of challenging trouble. 2 Chronicles 7:14 recorded, “…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Are you considering way to be humble in this challenging trouble and not become a vessel of faith failure?
Philippians 2:3-8 identified numbers of way to be humble, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,  who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,  but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Humility is also a source of obedient.
Like Jesus, Paul, Moses was identified in Numbers 12:3, “Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.”
Be humble, keep eye on God and not become a victim of faith failure in this challenging trouble of today.

Prayer for today: As God for the spirit of humility and not to become a victim of faith failure.

FAITH CAPSULE: Claim and confess to receive in the Word of God.

Exodus 14

The Word of God does not expire.
The Word of God does not contradict but is consistent to deliver.
The Word God exists from generation to generation.
The Word of God does not fail and there is never going to be a time for the word God to fail.
Above all, the Word of God is true to accomplish.
The book of Isaiah 55:11 testified, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” The Israelites were on their way out of bondage to God’s Promised Land for them as the Red Sea was in position to deny the Israelites. As a result of the Red Sea fear was raised as faith sank in the heart of the Israelites. Moses responded with the word of encouragement as stated, “…do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:13-14)  God gave His Word of salvation to the Israelites through Moses.
Are you unstable and clouded because of fear?
With faith and no fear, man shall see to receive deliverance and preservation in the Word of God. Fear, distraction, inconsistency and lack of commitment in serving the Lord are among the forces that will always deny a believer from standing still. Wherever you have been told that there is no way, In these days of challenges, know to say no to fear; take to a stand-still and begin to see a way in the Word of God.
God placed His word in Jeremiah’s mouth, “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to destroy and to throw down, and To build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:10) The Word of God in Jeremiah’s mouth enabled Jeremiah to engage and endure for his divine assignment to the glory of God. The Word of God was God’s representative through Jeremiah. The Word of God positioned Jeremiah in the place to see and be able. God wants His children to exercise a creative faith by seeing possibility in the place of impossibility. God has never gone to sleep and He will not fall asleep concerning your situation. Take to Moses’ advice in Exodus 14:14, “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”  Claim and confess to receive in the Word of God. Know in faith that your miracle is at hand.

Prayer for today: Ask God to open the eyes of your heart and to see when He speaks to you.

FAITH CAPSULE: Stand firm in Christ is to know Christ.

Philippians 3

Challenging trouble of today will make a believer to move into avenue of faith failure. Keeping eye on God is way to not to become a faith failure. Will you allow challenging trouble of today move you from remaining in faith? Jesus questioned faith situation when He returns as stated, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)
Focusing on the Word of God is crucial not become a faith failure. Jesus prayed for Peter not to be a victim of challenging trouble that was going to move Peter into faith failure, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail (Luke 22:32) Challenging trouble of today is bound to any believer when keeping eye on low prize in the place of keeping eye on the highest prize in heaven.
How are you taking step in the face of challenging trouble of today?
Take note that living in life today is like a race that delivers prize for how race is engaged.
1 Corinthians 9:24 admonished us about race and it is prize stating, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” 2 Timothy 4:7 recorded, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Paul identified what it takes not to be moved out of faith into failure as stated in Acts 20:24, “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
Like Paul, it is possible to disallow any challenging trouble and not move out of the right track of the race of life. Without doubt, to complete the race for the highest prize is to be keeping eye on God.
Keep eye on God by:
Stand firm in Christ
Standing firm in Christ is to know Christ and know to come out of the ignorance of knowing about Christ. Standing firm is to know that Jesus is coming back. Standing firm should be directly related to where to sit and how to walk in this wicked world. Paul said it all in Philippians 3:20-21, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body…”  Know Christ in the midst of challenging trouble of today; give self entirely to the Word of God. God does not ask from us what cannot be done. We are to do His word and not be a vessel of faith failure.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace not to be a faith failure.

FAITH CAPSULE: Jesus alone will make the difference.

Philippians 4

It is doubt that denies man to unconsciously miss the help of God for man. With doubt in the heart of man, troubling challenge will reposition man out of the presence of God. With heart that is occupied by troubling challenge, having joy that places man in the presence of God is not possible. David talked about joy and the presence of God, “…in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11) Paul emphasized on the need for joy and rejoicing despite troubling challenges of his life. Paul encouraged the need to be in joy stating, “…my brethren, rejoice in the Lord…” (Philippians 3:1) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4) Joy and rejoicing does not have a substitute before God; joy and rejoicing is a continual engagement to retain the presence of God. Jesus questioned in Luke 24:38, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? With doubt, believe of man becomes shattered in the heart as troubling challenges gathers to take position. Jesus encouraged us “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1)
Affliction is troubling.
Word of God promised, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) Do not be troubled because of affliction. Today, pray against the troubler of the heart; ask that trouble shall cease and expectation of heart shall not perish. Believe that Jesus is here as stated in John 10:10, “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus is here to give life abundantly. Do you doubt His word? It is doubt that denies man from receiving in the promise of God for man. Jesus said, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? (Luke 24:38) With doubt, believe of man becomes shattered in the heart. Jesus encouraged us “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1)
Faith is what pleases God.
Trusting and hoping in God is rooted in keeping focus in the word of God. In the face of your troubling challenge, keep on praying to God because Jesus encourages all to ask, seek, knock and be persistent because God answers. Regardless of troubling challenge one must stay positive and be encouraged in the Lord. Above all, it is important for man to know that life is about today, not yesterday. Truly, focus only on Jesus not on man, not on prophe-liars or aposto-deceiver.

Prayer for today: Ask for the grace of God against the troubler of heart.

FAITH CAPSULE: Begin to enter and dwell in the presence of God.

Jeremiah 7

Are you entering and dwelling in the place of God?
Entering and dwelling in the place of God is rooted in how you amend your ways. Jeremiah spoke the word of God to the people of Judah that will also add to our understanding of what it means to enter and dwell in the place of worshiping God. Jeremiah 7:1-3, “The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, ‘Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, ‘Hear the word of the LORD, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the LORD!  Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.’’” It does not matter how many hours you spend in the place of worship, or how long you have been entering your church building; it will not count if you are very active in the church but you are only entering on a regular basis without dwelling in the presence of God. The word of God through Jeremiah was not to those that do not come to worship but speaks to those that comes to worship as it pleases them not to please God. Does the word only apply to the people of Judah? Indeed, it was a direct message to the people of Judah, but it also directly communicates to us.
God wants us to amend our ways, not our excuses regarding to our ways entering and dwelling. It is about time to entering and dwelling in the place of worshiping God. What we need to do is trust God for the grace to begin to enter and dwell in His presence. God will help your desire to become deposited into your life. The Psalmist knew what he was asking for when he lifted his voice and asked God for his desire. Psalm 27:1-5, “One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.”
David’s identity as a man after God’s own heart must be the evidence of his dwelling in the presence of God. As an acclaimed believer, will you make dwelling in the presence of God that will establish you as a man after God’s own heart? Dwelling and entering the presence of God is taking a positioned to be blessed.
