FAITH CAPSULE: One that gives self to the word of God turns to God.

John 1

God creates all to exist for His glory and honor.
What or who are you turning to in this wicked world?
The word of God is God. One that gives self to the word of God turns to God.
All should turn to God.
There is no reason not to turn to God.
Among reasons to turn to the word of God are:
THE WORD OF GOD DELIVERANCE
Genesis 19:17 records the word of deliverance for Lot and his wife, “…Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
Lot turned to the word of God, but his wife did not turn to the word of God. 
Genesis 19:26 records, “But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”  
One that turns to the word of God looks to God for deliverance.
The wife of Lot turns away from God to become terminated.
RESPONSIBILITY TURN TO GOD
The limitation of relationship with God is the evidence of the limited time you study the word of God evidence not turn to God. 
Romans 15:4 informs all, “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” 
Why not give yourself to studying the word of God, to know and not turn away from Him?
Turn from the world to the word of God to know the truth.
John 8:32 admonishes all, “…YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH.” 
It is the responsibility of all to know God, the truth.
LISTEN TO THE WORD OF GOD
Listen to the word of God, and turn to His word. 
Turning to the word of God shall lead to deliverance from shame to joyful celebration. 
At the wedding at Cana of Galilee, when the celebration ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus advised the servants of Jesus “…whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5) 
In every way of life, turn to the word of God by listening to Him, and testimony shall not experience shame. Turn to God!
ASK TO BE TURNED TO GOD.
Running after a man in the place of not turning to God is not evidence of knowing God. 
Get to KNOW GOD by TURNING to Jesus!
Paul points out that Jesus is for all to turn away from iniquities to Him. Acts 3:26 records, “To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” 
Today, pray the prayer of the Psalmist for yourself as:
Psalm 119:37 records, “Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way.” 
Turn to the word of God, and give yourself to Him in His word to live life by His word.

Prayer for today: Ask God that His word shall become established in your life. 

FAITH CAPSULE: All believers should watch and pray.

1 Kings 18

Another order of God that is His direction, directive, and demand from all not to be a waste in living life is the word of Jesus that says, “WATCH AND PRAY.”
There is no place where Jesus demand from all to pray but only demands from all to “WATCH AND PRAY.”
Watch and pray is the order of God, the command of God.
A believer praying without watching or watching without praying is out of order to live in disorder.
Believers are Simple and with the character of praying but not watch as a Prudence one. 
Proverbs 14:15 describes them, “The simple believes every word, But the prudent considers well his steps.”
Believer (simple) that pray but do not watch is without PRUDENCE and not in a position to be saved in troubling times. Proverbs 22:3 testifies, “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, But the simple pass on and are punished.” 
All believers should watch and pray.
Prophet of God, Elijah, demonstrates what it means to watch and pray.
Elijah prayed and watched for the rain to fall after he had prayed to cease rain. 
Elijah watched and prayed seven times so as not to miss the move of God for an answer.
1 Kings 18:42-44 documents Elijah’s praying and watching for rain, “And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.”
Order in the Word of Jesus repeatedly states, 
Mark 13:33, “Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.” This for all us not to sleep to miss the coming back of God.”
Mark 14:38, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 
The importance of praying and watching documents in Luke 21:34-36 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
1 Peter 4:7, “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers.”

Prayer for today: 
Ask to be seeking, watching, and praying according to His word.
Ask that God will make you live in the order of His word.

FAITH CAPSULE: Acclaimed believers that do not know God will not understand God. 

Exodus 3, Colossians 3:1:17

Are you willing to serve God indeed and in truth?
Are you an acclaimed believer of God but serving God with a lack of understanding?
Acclaimed believers that do not know God will not understand God.
Acclaimed believers serving God without knowing God will limit the experience of the manifestation of the power of God over their life.
The children of Israel know about God but not serving God. 
The Israelites lack the understanding to serve God.
The Israelites in Egypt of Pharaoh could not live life according to the word of God.
Are you one like the Israelites in Egypt that could not live life to serve God?
God creates all to exist for Him. (Revelation 4:11)
God wants all to serve Him.
God wanted the Israelites out of Egypt of Pharaoh when He spoke to Moses, “When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” (Exodus 3:12) 
God also sent Moses to Pharaoh, “Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me…” (Exodus 4:22-23)
God is a jealous God that wants nothing from all but to be free and serve Him.
What does it mean to serve God? 
To serve God demands from all to seek Him diligently, to set minds on things above, where God is above.
The book of Colossians 3:1-2 clearly states, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Seeking God will come with the challenges of this world.
Among challenges not to seek God diligently are:
-One that is yet to be dead in their trespasses will not rise to serve God.
-Inability to put off the body of the sins of the flesh.
-Setting the mind on worldly things more than things above will not serve God diligently.
There is no excuse to take the mind off from the things of God, to avoid missing the presence of God.
Are you willing to serve God indeed and in truth?
Have you separated yourself from worldly things you once walked with as a way of life? 
The word requires all to put to death members on the earth, such as fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. The members on earth will bring the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. (Colossians 3:6-7)
Word also points directly for all to put off: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of our mouth, do not lie to one another. (Colossians 3:8-10)
Seek God in His word to gain an understanding of serving Him.
Be renewed in knowledge according to the word of God. 
Serve God diligently to experience the power of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to serve God with understanding diligently.

FAITH CAPSULE: You are the TEMPLE of God! 

John 2:13-25

Besides, as an acclaimed believer, do you know who you are?
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”  
You are the TEMPLE of God!
Today, identify yourself and get to know the kind of temple you are before God.
Clean up your God-given temple and not get a whip of cords.
What the people see you be will not influence what God knows about you. 
Who you are counts before God.
As a temple, the kind of business that transpires in you is evidence of you, the temple you are.
The Bible records that when the Passover of the Jews was at hand, Jesus visited Jerusalem.
He does not make a careless move just as He divinely went to Jerusalem to correct an anomaly.
John 2:14 records, “…He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.”  
Christ found businesses in the temple that were not of God. 
As a temple, what is it that Jesus will find in you when He shows without you expecting His visitation?
At the visitation of the temple, Jesus reacted to activity not supposed to be in the temple.
John 2:15-16 records, “When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”  
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Jesus has not changed, and he will not change. 
If you are one with an anomaly in your temple, you should expect a whip of chords from Jesus.
Jesus reacted with a whip of cords when he visited a temple with activities, not of God.
What transpires in your temple, and what needs to clean in you? 
The disciples saw the reaction of Jesus in the temple as He kicked out all not of God, and they “…remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten me up.” (John 2:17).
Until the zeal of God eats up a believer, then the possibility of having a clean temple is almost impossible.
When there is zeal for God, Jesus will move into such life. 
To be zealous for God, the temple of God must not be of anomaly, and the temple shall be full of the presence of Christ.
God is watching, and all should continually watch out by keeping his temple clean to avoid the reaction of God with whips of cords. 
Clean up your God-given temple, and avoid a whip of chords.

Payer for today: Ask for the mercy of God to keep you as His temple that is clean from an anomaly. 

FAITH CAPSULE: know to plead for the mercy of God.

Exodus 15

Plead for the mercy of God!
God is at a distance where or when sin exists and does not accommodate sin.
With sin, one is short of the presence of God, but without sin, one will gain the fullness of the presence of God. Romans 3:23 speaks to all, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” 
Distance from the presence of God will provoke unwanted, unexpected painful challenges that exist in the wicked world of sin.
With repentance from sin, the mercy of God shall answer painful challenges.
Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, the mercy of God has been consistent to see you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
Just as power belongs unto God, mercy also belongs to God. 
The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind.
His mercy is with forbearance that does not run out.
Only God is in the position to render mercy unto all without failing.
The mercy of God does not result in merit but in the goodness of God. 
God cannot be intimidated or manipulated by His creations to obtain His mercy.
God testifies to His mercy, “…I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So, then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.” (Romans 9:14-16)
The mercy of God is in place for all, and nothing under heaven can displace or deny one to experience His mercy.
The mercy of God could not be displaced or denied of the Israelites from coming out of the bondage of over four hundred years.
The Bible records, “You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed…” (Exodus 15:13) 
In this wicked world, understand and know to live life to attain the mercy of God as the Bible records His word.
Know to plead for the mercy of God.
Know to plead for the mercy of God.
God identified Job as a blameless man that fears God and shuns evil but not with an excuse not to plead for the mercy of God. Job 9:15 records the pleads for mercy by Job in the presence of God, “For though I were righteous, I could not answer Him; I would beg mercy of my Judge” (Job 9:15). 
There is no excuse for Job to receive the mercy of God without pleading for His mercy. 
Just like Job, the Psalmist pleads for the mercy of God, “Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death.” (Psalm 9:13). 
Know to plead for the mercy of God.

Prayer for today: Ask, and plead before God for His mercy over the challenges of your life.
