HE HAS RISEN!

FAITH PRESCRIPTION: Eliminate doubt, and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus every moment.

Mathew 11

The word of Jesus speaks to all:
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Jesus came for all on the cross to give abundant life.
Indeed, He has risen, and life abundantly is in place for all that will live life by the word of God.
Knowing to be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus should be the evidence of faith.
One with faith will deny the fear which encases doubt.
Where there is fear or when fear is rising, faith will sink.
The Bible identifies the source of faith, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
Just as faith comes by hearing and hearing, faith will depart by not hearing and hearing the word of God.
Engage hearing and hearing by the word of God to gain faith.
John the Baptist was in prison when he demonstrated doubt about who Jesus was.
Matthew 11:2-3 records, “And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
Celebrating Jesus demands having faith and not doubt.
John the Baptist baptized testifies the time when he baptized Jesus by saying, “…Behold The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.”’ (John 1:29-30)
John also exalted Jesus saying, “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from Heaven is above all.” (John 3:31)
Despite all which John the Baptist testified about Jesus, when he was in the prison of his life, he doubted Jesus.
John demonstrated doubt, the evidence that he does not know God but knows about God.
The majority have heard it all, seen it all about Jesus but could not hold on to Him in trust and hope the evidence they do not know God but know about Him.
The response of Jesus to the doubt of John also speaks to all doubting believers.
Jesus sent to John in doubt and the prison of life, “…Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” (Mathew 11:4-5)
When doubt is in place, faith is bound to drown.
Give self to the meaningful celebration of the resurrection of Jesus every moment.
He has risen!

Prayer for today: Ask that your faith will not allow doubt and fear over your life.

CELEBRATE RESURRECTION

FAITH CAPSULE: Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus is to live life for God.

1 Corinthians 15

The resurrection of Jesus is the reason for the need to be praising God.
Psalm 150:6 states, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
One with the breath of life owes it all to the resurrection of Jesus for the salvation of all.
It is good to know God, engaging in the celebration of the death of Jesus at the Calvary and the rising of Jesus to be alive for all.
It is the love of God for all that provokes the death and the rise of Jesus.
Celebrating is praising God with understanding. (Psalm 47:7)
Celebrating Christ without understanding there will be no knowledge to be increased for God but decreased not to be elevated.
Jesus came to give it all on the cross of Calvary, and He gave it more abundantly that all should have life.
John 10:10 records the word of Jesus, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”
The desire of Jesus, His passion for all, is for all to live life abundantly and not live wasted.
With faith, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus should be every moment of life by knowing that Jesus Christ paid for all on the cross and rose for all to have life abundantly.
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus soberly reflecting reflect the price on the Calvary, the love of God for all.
With faith is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus soberly, not pessimism (doubt)but to take away disappointment and hopelessness.
Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ is keeping alive the memory of death and the rise of Jesus for all.
All should celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ to provoke salvation as Galatians 2:20 states, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
The majority celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with a lack of knowledge.
Many spend time in the church but very far from Jesus while He is in their presence.
As an acclaimed believer of Jesus, do you know him or only know about Him?
From the times of the Old Testament to New Testament, the people of God do not know God, just as Hosea 4:6 records, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
Knowing about God is not with understanding of celebrating the resurrection of God.
All should know God to seek Jesus diligently, celebrating Him for the life he has given to all to die and rise.
All should know to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ to be sober and awake, not to miss the salvation paid by Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 speaks to all, “Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.”

Prayer for today: Pray that you live life for God.

ANY EXCUSE?

FAITH CAPSULE: For your sin, are you counting on excuses before God?

Genesis 3

A failure not to do as commanded by the word of God is disobedient.
Every disobedient before God is sinning to God.
With sin, no man can reach God. Disobeying the word of God does not have an excuse before God but only leads to a consequence. Romans 3:23 admonishes, “…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
To become short of the glory of God is not to access the presence of God.
Is sin and sinning your way of life?
There is no legitimate excuse for one with sin before God.
Adam and Eve violated the word of God, and there was no reasonable excuse for their sin.
Adam did not ask God for a helper when God created Eve as his helper. Genesis 2:20-22 confirms, “…But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept, and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.”
The sin of Adam was rooted in the disobedience of Eve but was not a legitimate excuse before God.
Genesis 3:9-13 documents that God called on Adam for his sin and his excuse for sin: Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you? So, he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. “And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
The sin of Adam does not have a reasonable excuse before God but provoked the consequence of sin over Adam.
Are you living a life of sin and sinning and counting on excuses before God?
Be warned, know, and understand that sin and sinning are not excusable before God.
Title or role engaged before God will not count but bring painful consequences to the sinner, a disobedient to the word of God.
As a temple of God, are you taking care of the temple of God?
The word of God records, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) Answering as a believer does not stop the consequence of God.
According to the word of God, be warned!
1 Corinthians 3:17 records, “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” Are you defiling the temple of God in you?
Keep away from the sin that God alone sees it all.
No excuse for sinning will excuse anyone from the consequences of sin.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you not to be a vessel of sin and sinning.

LOOK UP TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you one that looks up to God for His favor, His visitation for His salvation?

Genesis 39, Esther 2:1-18

God remembers with favor. Psalmist prayed, “Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation.” (Psalm 106:4)
Favor is what makes the difference in every journey of life.
When God pours out His Favor, one shall live life for the glory of God.
The favor of God is with the grace which God freely grants.
In the Bible days, so many experienced the favor of God, and today God is still finding one to grant His favor.
Are you one that looks up to God for His favor, His visitation for His salvation?
By your way of life, do you rightly deserve the favor of God?
God is merciful, and if you sincerely desire His favor, He will deposit His favor over your life.
Esther experienced the visitation of God not because she was perfect in the way of life.
Esther was an orphan raised by her uncle after her father and mother had passed away.
While at the palace of King Ahasuerus, Esther experienced the favor of God when Queen Vashti failed.
Queen Vashti lost it when she dishonored King Ahasuerus as the door of favor for Esther to become the queen.
Today, pray that a door of favor will open for you.
Esther experienced favor to be chosen among many women to become the queen in place of Queen Vashti.
Esther 2:9 documents the channel of the favor Esther, “Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained his favor; so he readily gave beauty preparations to her, besides her allowance. Then seven choice maidservants were provided for her from the king’s palace, and he moved her and her maidservants to the best place in the house of the women.”
In your challenge, are you seeking the favor of any man or woman?
Esther did not need additional help because God was operating on her behalf.
When the favor of God is in place, all that it takes to meet every need will be in place. What you thought was a need shall become available for you.
Favor is not your merit; it is God working on your behalf.
Favor has no age barrier or any form of discrimination. Only God alone has the power to grant undeniable in the life of any as He desires. It is never too late for you to be blessed and highly favored because He is a faithful God.
Are you with the expectation of the favor of God?
Live life as Joseph.
Joseph lives life for God, and he could not do great wickedness and sin against God. (Genesis 39:9)
Genesis 39:21 records the testimony of Joseph not sinning against God to provoke His favor, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”
The favor of God is certainly not to become a victim of evil.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to walk with Him.

CHALLENGING WORLD

FAITH CAPSULE: Prayer prevails in times of challenges.

Genesis 6

The wickedness is continual, as challenges are rooted in it.
Genesis 6:5-6 records, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.”
The challenges under heaven are undeniable but are possible to become delivered in it all.
There are challenges in all corners of the world.
With God, one can live on earth and not become a victim of challenges.
The word of God promises in Psalm 34:19, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers in it all.”
The righteous are full of wisdom and knowledge of God, the evidence of the fear of God. Isaiah 33:6 encourages, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
To gain wisdom and knowledge is not by determination but with desire before God shall deposit what it takes to have wisdom and knowledge of God.
PRAYER
Ask that God fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
Ask that you shall walk worthy of the Lord by His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be stable, not frail in the challenges of this world.
Ask for the wisdom and knowledge of having faith, fully pleasing God, and being fruitful in every good work before God.
Ask that wisdom and knowledge of God enable us to be strengthened with all might, according to the glorious power of God.
In all challenges, it is possible to live life for God.
Living life for God by walking with God, walking before Him, and walking in Him is crucial not to live a life of waste.
Enoch walked with God to live 365 years and did not die a sudden or untimely death as God took him. (Genesis 5:21-24)
Noah walked with God at a time of corruption and destruction to find grace before God.
Genesis 6:9-10 testifies, “Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations.
Abraham walked before God to be blameless and possess the promises of God for his life.
God is the unchanging changer that does not contradict His word.
Walking with God is walking before God, also walking in Him.
WALKING IN HIM
The word of God points out that walking with God, walking before God, is walking in Him.
Colossians 2:6 records what it means to walk in Him, “As you, therefore, have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
Without deliverance possibility in the time of challenges in the world, the world would not have promised deliverance of God.
Live life for God and not become wasted in life.

Prayer for today:
Ask that God enable you to live life for Him.
Ask that you are enabled to live life by walking before God, walking with Him, and walking in Him.
Ask that by the blood of Jesus, you shall not fall, fail or falter in every step of life.
