WHO ARE YOU?

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you answering as Christian?

Jeremiah 12

Who are you?
Are you an acclaimed believer as a Christian?
The majority are answering as a Christian but not CHRIST-LIKE, by their way of living life.
Following the word of God as the disciples of Jesus are CHRIST-LIKE just as it started in Antioch.
Acts 11:26 points out, “And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
The majority answering as Christians are far from following the word of Christ but following the world.
The majority of acclaimed Christians are not as disciples in Antioch but are with the character of telling lies, deceiving, and manipulating their world.
Who are you?
Seek God diligently answering as Christ-like.
Are you an acclaimed believer that carries the Bible (the word of God) in the head but not in the heart, not allowed the word in the ways of life?
Are you an acclaimed believer who talks than to listen to hear from God?
Are you walking from God in the place to walk with God or walk in Him?
Enoch walked with God. (Genesis 5:21-24)
Noah walked with God (Genesis 6:9)
Abraham walked before God when God called him out to walk before Him. (Genesis 17:1)
The word of God points that walking with God, walking before God, is walking in Him. Colossians 2:6 states, “As you, therefore, have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
Who are you?
Are you talking about the word of God but not walking the word of God?
Talking without walking the word will not deliver the power in the word of God.
Isaiah 54:17 records, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn…”
Are you quoting the word of God but not living by the word of God?
Without walking the word of God, expecting the manifestation of the power of God is in self-deception.
God is not a careless giver to one that does not walk in His word.
Who are you?
Are you wicked and not knowing that you God sees all?
Many believers, not just unbelievers, are wicked.
Before God, Jeremiah 12:1-2 points out who is wicked,
“Righteous are You, O Lord when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth But far from their mind.”
Believers with the word of God in the mouth but far from the heart are wicked.
Who are you?
Get to know yourself to give back to God by seeking Him.
From today, declare a desire to give more to God.
Serving God is not about asking for what is needed.
In the place of asking from God, search for yourself to identify what you will give back to God.
Be mindful of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that be enabled to seek God more diligently.

THE MESSAGE FROM GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: The message from God is for all to love God.

1 Corinthians 13

Under heaven, if the acclaimed believers know God not know about God, darkness should not be prevailing as much as it is today.
Many are gathering as a believer of God but far from God, with no room for the word of God taking over the way of life.
As a believer, in your place of assumed worshiping ground, are you expecting the move of the power of God?
Expecting the power of God where there is no love for God to keep the word of God is self-deception. 1 John 4:8 admonishes, “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
The message from God is for all to love God.
Today, seek and give self to the message of God for all creation.
1John1:5 also identifies the message of God, “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declares to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”  God is light, and one that knows Him shall reflect Him. Without a doubt, if acclaimed believers thronging ground of worship in the name of God knows God, indeed truth, darkness would probably have disappeared on the face of the earth.
Today, the darkness of wickedness is hoovering the whole world.
With self-sincerity, have a desire that God will search you has the Psalmist 139:23-24 records, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Search self to know God by His word, rather than to know about God.
Know God by keeping His commandment.
1John 2:3-5 testifies, “Now by this, we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this, we know that we are in Him.”
Get to know God to know the love of God.
1Corinthians 13:4-8 records the love of God, “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.”
With a desire for God to take charge of your life, prayerfully ask God to enable you.

Prayer for today: Ask for the word of God to be established over your life.

GIVE TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Give back to God by seeking Him diligently.

Daniel 1

Think of what to give back to God in the place of always asking from God.
Seeking God with a custom approach will gain the attention of God not to become a victim of the wicked world.
Daniel lives a life of seeking God with a custom approach that delivered him from the wicked law not to terminate his life.
Daniel was a young captive when Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon besieged Jerusalem.
In the early days of Daniel as the captive, the King requested for young men in whom there was no blemish, but good-looking, gifted in all wisdom, possessing knowledge and quick to understand, who could serve in the palace.” (Daniel 1:4)
Daniel and others were to be treated with the daily provision of the delicacies and the wine of the King for three years of training to become serving the King.
Daniel refused to accept the offer of the King.
The book of Daniel 1:8 records, “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore, he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”
The response of David is of one that seeks God but not man.
The response of Daniel was as sowing a seed of deliverance for his life.
Daniel had a custom of seeking God since his early days.
In your life, do you have the custom approach (way, a practice) of seeking God?
Besides, running in and out of praying before God, do you have a unique (uncommon) means of seeking God?
Having the custom to seek God is not a casual way but should be seeking God diligently.
Daniel was committed to seeking God continually and could not fail God.
The custom of seeking God is like a seed that should not die but remain alive before God.
The custom way of Daniel was his seed, sown before God since his early days.
The life of Daniel demonstrates what it means to plant and reap from the seed of deliverance in times of troubling challenges.
Daniel 6:10 points to all about the seed of deliverance of Daniel, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
The custom of Daniel was the seed sown that delivered him in the time of challenge.
When having a custom of seeking God that acts for those who wait on Him, such cannot be possible to become a victim of the wicked world.
Sow the seed of seeking God continually and be counted as having a custom approach to God without failing.

Prayer for today: Ask God to take charge of your life to seek Him alone.

IGNORE DELAY

FAITH CAPSULE: Deny delay; declare all His goodness and His mercy that never expire.

Psalm 40

Delay can be discouraging with a lack of manifestation.
Are you a believer of God that knows to behave the word of God, not one that is full of the world and empty of the word of God?
All should know God to know that a delay is not a denial before God.
The Israelites requested for another leader after the delay of Moses the mountain.
Before Aaron, the Israelites said, “…make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” (Exodus32:1)
Before God, is your expectation experiencing delay?
The Israelites could not wait on God.
In the word of God, understand and know that waiting on God will not be wasted.
The word of God testifies the character of God towards one that waits on Him. Isaiah 64:4 records, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Delay, Deny, and doubt can be persistent in life to prompt discouragement in waiting for God.
Be encouraged, and God will not fail you when waiting on Him.
Be meditating on the testimony of David as Psalm 40:1-3 states, “I waited patiently for the Lord, And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear and will trust in the Lord.”
God is not a partial God, and He will give to your word of meditation.
Remind God concerning the works of His hand, ignore delay but be encouraged.
With understanding, be reasonable, plead and know claim before God that He has changed the situation for the better through His word in the Bible, and He can remember you with favor.
Isaiah 43:26 testifies the word of God that saying, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.
Do not be anxious in your waiting on God.
Your delay will turn unto deliverance if you trust and wait in the name of Jesus. The Bible declares in Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
A state of the world will generate concern but give yourself to the word of God.
Take all to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, and the peace of God will take over you.
Deny delay; declare all His goodness and His mercy that never expire.
Have faith in God that will not deny you!

Prayer for today: Ask that the grace of God shall keep you not walking out of Him.

WHO ARE YOU?

FAITH CAPSULE: What kind of a believer are you?

Matthew 5:1-16

In life, the word of God (command of God) demands nothing but for all to be fully obedient with no iota of middle ground.
To be fully obedient is living life by the word of God.
To be fully obedient to the word of God will please God to provoke the blessing of God.
Living a life of disobedience is bound to provoke the curse of God.
Are you partially obedient to the word of God as in the middle?
Are you like water that is not warm or cold?
The book of revelation talked about the middle ground, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
As an acclaimed believer, you are either one who contributes to your world as a preserver or one who contributes as a non-preserver (destroyer).
In the Bible days, there was no refrigerator for preserving food but salt. Jesus likens salt to be as the life of a believer.
Jesus points out that a believer should be responsible for impacting changes to the environment such as their workplace, neighborhood, and family gatherings.
Salt, as a preserver, means believers should be agents of preserving the decaying world of sin and iniquity around them. Instead, the world is the one that is changing believers lately.
The believers today should not be changed by the affairs of this world if they cannot change the world.
It is not enough to be fluent in Bible verses if the character does not support the fluency of the word in the mouth.
The majority of believers appear to be quiet, claiming that they do not want to offend any by their belief.
What kind of a believer are you?
Does the question point to you?
Imagine this, in the world of a kitchen where there is salt, how can it be that every food coming out is tasteless and unacceptable?
Question yourself why your world is tasteless in your presence as salt that answers to the calling of God?
Jesus said in Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men”
The salt in the kitchen where food is tasteless and unacceptable does not affect its world, to have lost its flavor.
Are you like salt in a kitchen with no effect?
The salt that is not effective has lost its purpose.
According to Jesus, salt becomes an underfoot material when it cannot preserve.
What kind of salt are you?
Boldness in quoting the Word without Godly character to back it up will continue to make you a powerless believer.
You are to be a salt that seasons your world with good and acceptable contributions to the glory of God.
Think and search to identify: what kind of a believer are you?

Prayer for today: Ask from God to enable you to be salt for your world.
