THE MERCY OF GOD HAS BROUGHT YOU FAR!
Understand and know God for His mercy over your life this far.
Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, the mercy of God has been consistent in seeing you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
The mercy of God that has brought you this far is not because you know how to live life.
To be alive this moment is the mercy of God.
Mercy belongs to God!
God, having mercy on whom He has mercy on, is unquestionable.
God spoke to Moses, “For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.’” (Romans 9:15)
With understanding, constantly give regard to God.
Are you giving regard to God for His mercy over your life?
Psalm 28:5 identifies the importance of giving regard to God for His doing in the life of one who understands the mercy of God, “Because they do not regard the works of the Lord, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.”
The mercy of God is constantly consistent, allowing His goodness when walking against the word of God.
With understanding of God, know to give regard for His mercy.
Understand and know the mercy of God is with forbearance that does not run out.
The mercy of God is His loyal love; the conventional love of the covenant-keeping God.
The mercy of God is His goodness.
Just as power belongs to God, mercy also belongs to God.
God cannot be intimidated or manipulated by any of His creations to receive His mercy.
The mercy of God is not attainable by the strength of working among believers but by walking in the word of God.
The mercy of God is in place for all, and nothing under heaven can displace or deny that God will visit with His mercy.
In the given days that you have by the breath of life, understand and know how to live life to attain the mercy of God, as the Bible records His word.
AMONG WAYS OF PROVOKING GOD TO OBTAIN HIS MERCY ARE:
The ways of God in place to engage the mercy of God are not to perish.
Not to perish is to have knowledge.
One who does not understand God will not have the knowledge not to perish.
Hosea 4:6 records the warning signal, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
Gain understanding of God and know how to engage His ways, to be exposed to His mercy.
One with understanding of God will know how to attain the mercy of God.
The mercy of God is attainable when the life one is living aligns with the word of God:
One living life by the word of God is in a position to receive the mercy of God.
For example, Joseph lived according to the word of God.
He ignored the temptation to violate the word of God and not to fail before God (Genesis 39:7-15).
In one instance, he denied the offer to sleep with the wife of his master by claiming: “…How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9)
Joseph reacted against the temptation of the wife of his master to experience the mercy of God, as the Bible mentions, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor…” (Genesis 39:21).
Joseph not sinning against God made him gain the mercy of God, and he did not live a life of waste.
Besides, living aligns with the word of God to gain His mercy:
Understand and know to love and to fear God.
The mercy of God is attainable when one trusts God, knows to ask for forgiveness, and does good.
The mercy of God is obtainable according to what one sows.
UNDERSTAND AND KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT THE MERCY OF GOD?
The mercy of God is abundant
Numbers 14:18 states,“The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…”
God does not run out of mercy, but it is a man who runs out of His mercy.
Are you living outside of the word of God, expecting His mercy to be in place for you?
Be obedient to the word of God, and live for God to experience His mercy.
The mercy of God is abundant and sufficient, but never becomes insufficient for those who fear Him.
The mercy of God is His endurance forever.
The word in1 Chronicles 16:34 speaks to all, confirming the endurance of God that is forever,“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
The everlasting God exists in His mercy.
Know to live, giving regard to God.
Jonah 2:8 “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy.”
Disregard idols to receive the mercy of God.
From this moment, live consistently by the word of God.
Attain the unfailing mercy of God.
Understand that the mercy of God is undeniable; God is in control of mercy.
Ask that the mercy of God be continually established in your life and not to live outside of the mercy of God that does not expire.
