THIS NEW SEASON

FAITH CAPSULE: In this new season, live for God, walk in His way.

Jonah 1

God’s will is for all to exist for Him. (Revelation 4:11)
To exist for God calls for serving Him in His way.
No one can serve God in one’s own way and find Him.
To serve God in His own way will find Him.
Without understanding how to serve in His own way, one will not know Him.
To know God is not to live a life of waste.
A life of waste shall perish.
Hosea 6:4 informs us, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge…”
How are you serving God?
Are you serving God in His way or in your way?
Without excuse, no one fails to serve Him in His way; that will find Him.
A failure to serve Him results in a reduced position (prevented)
A reduced position is not to live a life for the glory of God.
All are to live life for the glory of God.
One serving God in one’s own way will be exposed to a way of pain that will reduce one.
Jonah 1:1-3 documents Jonah taking to his own way, outside of the way of God, stating,“Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” 3 But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Jonah was reduced by going his own way, which made him unwilling to become a tenant in the belly of a fish.
In this new season, live for God, walk in His way.
Unwanted forces can reduce or prevent one from living for God.
The taskmaster placed on the Israelites was not what they wanted or ordered for their life.
Are you experiencing a taskmaster that is not of God over your life?
This new season, any representative of taskmasters with plans to inflict burdens in your life will be terminated permanently.
The Israelites became the target of Pharaoh, who set taskmasters over them because of their potential.
Exodus 1:11 records, “Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens.”
Unleash preventative prayer against whoever or whatever represents the taskmaster with a plan to inflict or replace the purpose of God over your life.
Pray they be frustrated, exposed, and powerless.
Pray before God that whatever represents taskmasters inflicting physical, spiritual, or emotional pain shall be shattered.
God delivered the Israelites from taskmasters.
The same God who is not partial shall answer to visit you for permanent deliverance.
Remember and meditate that power belongs to God, and He will not fail to deliver you by His mercy.

Prayer for today: Ask that in this new season you shall not be reduced from living for the glory of God.
