SERVE GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not be reduced to serving God.

1 King 17

Are you aware of being reduced, not serving God for His glory?
With understanding, know how to serve God in His way.
This new season, ask to be repaired, restored, and regained.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU, TO REPAIR YOU:
The Israelites were living as slaves, not able to serve God.
The mercy of God delivers.
God revives and repairs.
Ezra 9:9 records, “For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”
Desire to be repaired, answering as a temple of God, occupied by the presence of God.
God could not look away, but He delivered them.
All are to be the temple of God and to be right before God, so that God will occupy all.
One revived is repaired to be occupied by the presence of God, the evidence one that becomes built for God as His temple.
Pray that God will revive you to become repaired in every area of life, as His temple.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO RESTORE:
Samson became reduced when he wrongly revealed the secret of God-given power over his life to Delilah, his wife.
Samson walked in his way against the way of God.
Samson was reduced to become a vessel of mockery in the hands of his enemies.
Samson prayed for strength to be restored from being reduced.Judges 16:28 records, “Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, “O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”
Samson provoked God to restore him.
Samson was revived, restored, the miracle of God, not mocked by his enemies.
Pray that God will strengthen you to be restored in a position of increase to deny every mockery over your life.
ASK FROM GOD TO REVIVE YOU TO REGAIN:
To be revived will give life both physically and spiritually.
God sent Elijah to the widow of Zarephath.
After the woman of Zarephath met and cared for the needs of Elijah, her son was sick with no breath left in him.
The woman returned to seek Elijah, for his intervention concerning her son.
Elijah cried out to God to revive the son.
The Bible records, “Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.” (1 Kings 17:22)
The Voice of calling to God is the same as crying out to God to be revived in response to a challenging situation.
Pray that God will give heed to your calling on Him at all times.
God is kind.

Prayer for today: With desire, pray to be revived and not be reduced before God.
