KNOWING GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Know God, come out of religion, live life for Him.

John 8: 31-59

The majority know about God; only a few know God.
In all areas of life, physically or spiritually, one should have an understanding to have a knowing edge.
It is not possible to know God with a listening disability, which results in a lack of understanding.
Jesus questions with an answer confirming for all to know the reason for lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
The world is too busy to ignore and also not give attention to God.
It is not possible to know when an understanding is foreign to one.
One who gives attention to God will listen to gain understanding and know God for who He is.
The majority know about God; only a few know God.
Ask God to enable you to know Him more.
One who forgets God does not know God.
One who is mindful of God will continually remember and give attention to learning to know God.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…”
Observe is to see and become exposed to what is seen in the word of God to gain understanding.
One who lives by the truth of God is the evidence of knowing God, to live by His word.
The truth of God is not appealing because it can be bitter to become acceptable for living by it.
God is true, but His truth is hardly acceptable to the world.
John 8:45-47 records the word of Jesus that speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
One who does not accept the truth cannot believe and will not know God.
You must know God to come out of the religion of this wicked world.
To know God is rooted in the living word of God.
To know God is seeking God diligently, to please Him, and to find God as promised in Hebrews 11:6“But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
You must know God because knowing about God is not enough to escape from the pain that exists in the wicked world.
Know God, come out of religion, live life for the glory of God.
You must know God; that is the truth to be free in this wicked world.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to know Him more.

THE MERCY OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Great is the mercy of God!

Genesis 19:1-21

The mercy of God is His endurance forever.
The word in1 Chronicles 16:34 speaks to all, confirming the endurance of God that is forever,“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
The everlasting God exists in His mercy.
The mercy of God satisfies all areas of life.
The Psalmist records in Psalm 90:14“Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”
The mercy of God inhabits joy and gladness.
Proverbs 20:28 says, “Mercy and truth preserve the king…”
The Mercy of God will not preserve just the identified as king, but all who live life with the fear of God will gain the attention of God for His mercy.
From this moment, live consistently by the word of God.
Attain the unfailing mercy of God.
Understand, know how to walk in the word of God, and be enabled by God, not to run out of His mercy.
The mercy of God is in place to deliver and to preserve.
God is a merciful God.
Mercy belongs to God.
Mercy is unquestionably the doing of God.
No one is in place to question why the mercy of God answers for one in need of the hand of God.
Mercy is the character of God.
God is rich in mercy, and His mercy is great.
One with the mercy of God shall be relieved from suffering.
The mercy of God is compassion, lovingkindness, favor, and steadfastness.
The mercy of God is a gift, an undeserved compassion for one who receives it.
In the mercy of God, there is leniency.
Nehemiah 9:31 describes the mercy of God, “Nevertheless in Your great mercy. You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.”
Without doubt, after the resurrection of Jesus, it is to give regard to God for the fullest mercy of God that is sending Jesus for the sins of all.
The Apostle described the mercy of God inTitus 3:4-7, ” But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Great is the mercy of God!
Lot and his wife were in the place of destruction when the mercy of God found them for deliverance.
Despite the reluctance of Lot to come out of the destruction in Sodom and Gomorrah, the mercy of God was in place for the deliverance of Lot.
Genesis 19:19 records the testimony of the mercy of God over Lot, “Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life…”

Prayer for today: Meditate prayerfully asking for the mercy of God over your life.

HAVE MERCY ON ME

FAITH CAPSULE: The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind with forbearance.

Psalm 92

The beginning of a day or month demands unfailing thankfulness to God.
Psalm 92:1-2 identifies praising and thanking, “It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.”
Understanding, giving thanks, and praising God is giving regard to God at all times.
When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle.
Thank Him for His mercy.
Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, the mercy of God has been consistent in seeing you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind with forbearance.
Understand, know how to walk in the word of God, and be enabled by God, not to run out of His mercy.
In the given days that you have by the breath of life, understand and know to live life to attain the mercy of God, as the Bible records His word.
God alone will have mercy on whom He chooses to, but He will also have mercy on one who lives by His command.
God is a good God, He will not turn not to have mercy for one doing it right according to His word.
One that live align with the word of God and loves Him will not miss out of the mercy of God.
The mercy of God is attainable when the life one is living aligns with the word of God:
One living life by the word of God takes the position to receive the mercy of God.
For example, Joseph lived according to the word of God.
He ignored the temptation to violate the word of God and not to fail before God (Genesis 39:7-15).
In one instance, he denied the offer to sleep with the wife of his master by claiming: “…How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9)
Joseph reacted against the temptation of the wife of his master to experience the mercy of God as the Bible mentions, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor…” (Genesis 39:21).
The mercy of God is attainable when one loves God:
Obedience to God is evidence of love for God that will always provoke the mercy of God.
The Bible records that loving God is keeping His commandments (John 14:15).
To understand and know God is to love God and to fear God.
The story of Joseph points out that Joseph kept the commandment of God by forbidding adultery when he fled from sleeping with the wife of his master.
Joseph obeys, loves, and fears God, and he gained the mercy of God. From this moment, live consistently by the word of God.
Attain the unfailing mercy of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that Understand, know how to walk in the word of God, and be enabled by God, not to run out of His mercy.

GIVE THANK ALWAYS

FAITH CAPSULE: The beginning or the end of a day, season, or month demands unfailing thankfulness to God.

Psalm 92, 100

It is a goodness of God to see the newness of the moment.
Seeing every moment is the grace of God, not because of knowing how to see a new day.
Thanking God will praise God. Praising God will thank God.
Psalm 47:7 informs all, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.”
The word of God that demands praising God with understanding also demands thanking God with understanding.
Give God the sacrifice of thanksgiving continually to seek God diligently. Giving thanks is not a thinking engagement.
Giving thanks is rooted in faith, appreciating God for what He has done, what He is doing, and all He will do.
Give God thanksgiving, praising God continually.
Psalm 100:4 recorded, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…”
God is a God of jealousy.
It is giving Him attention that pleases Him as He gives back His attention.
Giving thanks to God is getting attention from God, the evidence of returning to God with appreciation.
King David successfully brought the ark of God to his city with thanksgiving to God.
The thanksgiving of King David states, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!” (1Chronicles 16:8-9)
King David returned with thanksgiving to God for His deeds among the peoples.
In all relations to God, He always waits to act for those who wait for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)
God waits for all the thanksgiving that He deserves, at all times.
When Jesus healed ten lepers, only one returned to give thanks.
The reaction of Jesus to only one of the ten lepers records, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So, Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:15-19)
Giving thanks to God is a reasonable sacrifice, acceptable as doing good before God.
Psalm 92:1-2 identifies praising and thanking, “It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.”
Giving thanks and praising God is giving regard to God at all times
Praise with understanding.
When understanding backs up conviction, it delivers an undeniable miracle.
Volumes and pages of a book will never be enough to identify what thanking and praising God is doing.
Giving God the sacrifice of praise and thanks is seeking God diligently.
At every breath of life that God has given you, give Him thanks and praise. (Psalm 150:6)

Prayer for today: Ask that thanking and praising God for His goodness will be your way of life continually.

CONSISTENTLY SEEK HIM

FAITH CAPSULE: Be consistent and diligent in finding God.

Daniel 6

Seek God diligently to find Him.
Seeking God is not a play but a costly labour.
One who is not seeking God diligently is bound not to find Him.
Deuteronomy 4:29 identifies what it takes to find God: “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
As a believer, has it ever been your desire to encounter the presence of God?
The majority have no desire to encounter God in their experience.
Excuses of inconvenience occupy the majority, not aligning with the desire to engage the presence of God.
Continuity eschews inconvenience and answers with the commitment that those who seek God continually, with no excuse for the inconvenience, in every area of seeking after God.
With continuity, those who give themselves to serving the Lord God will gain the experience of God.
Search yourself to know whether you trust and hope in God by continually keeping His word.
The Psalmist testifies to the character of one who strives to walk in God.
Psalm 71:14 records “But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.”
With continuity, Joseph served God by walking away from sin.
Joseph refused the pressure to lie, but not lie with the wife of his master.
Genesis 39:8-9 records the response of Joseph to the wife of his master, “But he refused and said to his master’s wife, ‘Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Abstaining from sin is an avenue to avoid sin before God continually. Joseph testified his stand before God, “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
Joseph demonstrated a mind for God, not to derail his continuity of commitment, before God.
Daniel continually served God, walking with God.
An unbelieving king recognized Daniel as a servant of the living God.
Unwillingly, after King Darius sentenced Daniel to an untimely death in the den of lions, he spoke to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” (Daniel 6:16) The Bible documents the loss of sleep of King Darius, waiting for the morning hour to check the demonstration of the faith of Daniel.
Daniel 6:19-20 records, “Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
King Darius, an unbeliever, recognized that Daniel could not go wrong as a believer in God.
Be known for God, seek God diligently.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will serve God continually.
