CONFORM NOT

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not conform to the world invested in evil.

Romans 12

A diligent mind will not conform to the world.
Apostle Paul warns, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God is.” (Romans 12:2)
What can you think that you are conforming to that is not of God?
Conformity can be action or behavior in correspondence with current customs, rules, or styles.
The apostle Paul warns all not to conform to this world.
Conformity to this world is thriving even among the acclaimed believers, not just unbelievers of the world.
What is it about this world?
The ruler of this world is the wicked one, the liar and the destroyer, the devil himself.
The devil engineered the fall; it was the evil one who led Adam and Eve into disobedience that kicked them out of where God had placed them, the Garden of Eden.
It is a warning for believers and unbelievers of the word not to conform to this world.
To be conformed to this world is rooted in the mind of man.
Today, how is your mind?
Without a doubt, the mind is the battleground where the enemy operates.
Avoid the enemy from occupying your mind by renewing your mind with the word of God.
One way of renewing the mind is commitment and constantly meditating on the word of God.
Be committed to God, meditating on the word of God to deny evil from the heart.
The evil, the father of lies, goes around looking for someone to devour.
Evil is an active, constant, and consistent evil-doing.
Always keep the mind away from pride, from which all evil branches.
Self-centeredness, stubbornness, and rebellion are among the branches out of pride.
Isaiah 26:3 admonishes, “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind stayed on You because he trusts in You.”
Make it a way of life by keeping the mind stayed on God.
The calling of God is not a confirmation of getting to the expected end but an indication that God wants you to get to His calling over your life.
In all the callings of God, with answering, there will always be an undoubtedly evil challenge with an attempt to deny the arrival of the called one to an expected end.
God does not fail to back the called up if the called will back off from every ground that does not glorify God.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 is an encouragement in the calling of God, stating, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
In all, challenges will come, but God will deliver in all. (Psalm 34:19)
Have you received the calling of God or the calling of the world?
With your desire and prayer before God, the grace of God shall enable you to arrive at the calling of God over your life.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you not to become a victim of the wicked world.
