FOLLOW HIM FULLY

FAITH CAPSULE: Know God to understand and follow fully.

Numbers 14

It is the will of God for all to live for Him.
Do you know that it is the will of God?
Without understanding, there is no knowing.
Lack of understanding of God means not knowing God, but may only know about God.
The lack of understanding in serving God does not serve God according to God.
All are created to serve God.
The reason to be living is serving God.
A believer in God must serve and worship God with understanding.
As an acclaimed believer, are you serving God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength?
To serve God wrongly comes with a costly consequence.
Uzzah served God with good intentions but lost his life.
The attempt of Uzzah to keep the Ark of God from falling took away his life.
His act of serving was against the Word of God that forbids anyone from touching the Ark of God.
The Bible records, “Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.” (2 Samuel 6:7)
Uzzah failed in serving God.
The utmost for the Israelites coming out of the bondage of over four hundred years was to go and serve God.
At their coming out of the bondage, God required them to serve Him; however, their service was incomplete.
Faith-failure was the bane of the Israelites.
In their challenging times, they confessed negatives by murmuring against God.
God responded to Israelites’ faith-failure through Moses as stated: “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.” (Numbers 14:28-30)
Failure to serve God with the whole heart is evidence of not following Him fully.
Are you serving God fully to avoid a failure to arrive at the promise of God?
With your desire to serve God, what is holding you back from serving God acceptably?
Jesus responds to believers, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24)
Are you with a limited understanding to serve God?
Do you commit to serve God?
Serving God demands following Him fully.
Jesus admonishes, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me: and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” (John 12:26)
With understanding, serve God so that you will not be terminated.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will serve God with understanding.
