TESTIMONY

FAITH CAPSULE: Testimony of obedience and disobedience to the word of God.

Obedience to the word of God Abraham is a testimony of one occupied by the presence of God.
God requested the sacrifice of his only son of old age.
Abraham did as commanded by God.
Genesis 22:12 points out how Abraham lived by the fear of God, “12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Abraham feared God by his action, not by his word. (Many claim the fear for God but not evidence by way of life.)
The fear of God gained in the word of God builds up Abraham to be living for God.
Psalm 119:130 states, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
Revelation 3:20 also says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
PRAYER
Ask that constantly you become opened up for the entrance of the word of God to become opened for the word of God into you, and live by the fear of God.
Ask that the presence of God begin to prepare and present your going and coming all the days He has given you. Ask that from this moment to the coming days, months, and years, the presence of God occupies you in the name of Jesus.
DELIVERANCE FROM LINGERING
Every lead of God to bring you out of the wicked world, as your deliverance and preservation, the spirit of lingering in the place of outright deliverance of God, shall not have a place over your life to place you in untimely death.
Genesis 19:15-18, “the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” 16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. 17 So it came to pass when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
PRAYER
Ask against the spirit of lingering not to have a place in your life.
Ask that every route of your deliverance and preservation of God shall not experience the spirit of lingering.
Ask that the mercy of God that has brought you this far not to be a victim of a wicked world shall not cease.
Ask to be separated from every agent of turning escape to become stagnated, not to have a place in your life.

WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE

The desire for wisdom, understanding, and knowledge will increase living for the glory of God.
God delivers His own when called on, and He acknowledges.
The children of Israel, in time of their challenge, cried out to God.
God looked upon them.
Exodus 2:25, “And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them…”
In this challenging time, one that calls on Him, that looks upon Him shall experience the move of God, answering His people.
Instability is the core of the challenges of today.
However, call upon God to experience stability, not to be a victim of the challenges.
Isaiah 33:6 says, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
God treasures it when living by the fear of God is the character of one with wisdom and knowledge.
It is wisdom, understanding, and knowledge that are not separated, being possessed, that will enable one not to live unstable in the challenges of instability.
Are you one with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that is rooted in the word of God?
ALWAYS ASK FOR WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE
Three things not to stop asking from God are wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
WISDOM is the instruction of God.
1 Corinthians 1:30 records wisdom, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…”
UNDERSTANDING is giving attention that is listening to the word of God.
KNOWLEDGE is the application of wisdom.
Knowledge is having wisdom, then with an understanding of having the edge in life endeavors.
Are you a believer in having or not having wisdom, understanding, and knowledge not to perish, a life of waste?
Hosea 4:6 clearly states, “My people perish because they lack knowledge.”
Wisdom and understanding are the evidence of knowledge.
Pages of the Bible emphasize wisdom and understanding as the key to having a knowing edge.
For example, Proverbs 4 records the importance of wisdom and understanding.
PROVERBS 4:1 “Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding.”
PROVERBS 4:5, “Get wisdom! Get understanding!”
PROVERBS 4:7, ‘Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
The wisdom of God is in place for one who will give self to gain the understanding for the application of knowledge.
However, many do not understand the word (wisdom) of God.
A lack of understanding is a listening disability.
Jesus points it out in John 8:43 when He asked and answered rhetorically, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
Understanding is crucial to living as a believer, not just knowing about answering as a believer.
In this challenging world, one who does not have the wisdom (word) of God and does not have the understanding to navigate knowing God is able in all areas of life is bound to perish.
John 8:45 records the word of Jesus, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.”
All should consciously strive to grow as believers to gain wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, not to perish as having a life of waste.
In the place of wisdom and not to have a knowing, lack of understanding is the issue.
One with wisdom will have the understanding to live a life of knowing edge.
THE WORD OF GOD IS A SECRET NOT A STORY
Lack of understanding is engaging the word of God as a story instead of the word of God as a secret.
No one engages the word of God as a story to become exposed to the power of God.
Psalm 91:1 points to the word of God as the secret, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
For example, knowing the killing of Goliath by David as a story and not knowing the secret David demonstrated will not be exposed to the secret of killing giants that militates against one.
David went against Goliath against the discouragement of King Saul, requesting David be young and not with war experience as a soldier to fight Goliath.
The understanding of the secret for David to go against Goliath was rooted in his testimony of being able to kill both a lion and a bear.
Above all, the secret of David was in his word to excel God, “Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” (1Samuel 17: 45)
In his testimony, he claimed victory in striking and taking off the head of Goliath for the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
Understanding the secret in the word of God is to gain a knowing edge to the glory of God.
With understanding is to keep focus on God alone.

CONDEMNED ONE

FAITH CAPSULE: God redeems where there is evidence of condemnation.

Judges 11:1-32

In life, knowingly or unknowingly, an ugly and painful faulty foundation is possible to have a place in the life of one.
Condemned is possible to become converted to compliment and approved.
God is the only unchanging changer.
God alone will reverse any irreversible situation from ugly to beautiful.
The stretch-out hand of God is always in place to turn around a faulty foundation that one does not plan or demand as a way of life.
Consider the story of Jephthah:
In the story of Jephthah, the Gileadite, he gained the title of a mighty man of valor despite the truth that he did not count among his people and was also the son of a harlot.
As a son of a harlot, he got chased out of the house of his father.
The faulty foundation of Jephthah was outside of his control; Jephthah was paying for what he did not bargain in life.
The painful situation of Jephthah demanded a divine intervention to turn around his story.
Without a doubt, his situation called for redemption (regeneration, recovery, reparation, or rebirth).
With God is redemption for Jephthah. With expectation, know that an hour of waiting like this is not impossible to have an encounter with the presence of God to change the story for good.
At the appointed time of God, to turn the story of Jephthah for good, the Israelites needed a commander to confront enemies.
The elders of Gilead had to go and seek Jephthah for help.
Judges 11:6 records, “Then they said to Jephthah, ‘Come and be our commander that we may fight against the people of Ammon.’”
The story of Jephthah is the testimony of God that redeems where there is evidence of condemnation.
Condemnation converted to become compliment and approved.
By the doing of God, Jephthah, son of a harlot, became the needy one as a commander for his people.
Jephthah responded to the calling by his people in Judges 11:7, “So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, “Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father’s house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?”
The same God that set Jephthah to come from being rejected because of a faulty foundation will answer for all to rise from a faulty foundation to the glory of God.
God, in His deliverance, His redemption plan, shall speedily locate you for favorable good.
Jephthah accepted the assignment for his people and delivered victory for the children of Israel.
Jephthah, answering as a commander, also became the head of his people.
God that changed the story of Jephthah for good shall also change yours for good.
Prayer for today:
Ask that any faulty foundation in your life shall experience the visitation of God.
Ask God not partial, shall answer for you with speed to make you new, that you recover, and His reparation, as in reborn, shall be glaring to your world for His glory.
Ask that all known and unknown faulty foundation that is clouding your destiny shall experience the move of God to clear off your life, in the name of Jesus.

BE BUILD

FAITH CAPSULE: The word of God will perform exactly its purpose.

John 1

Communicating power in the word of God is the ardent for transformation.
Psalm 107:17-20 states, “Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
The same word God sent to the fools, violators of His word for their salvation from self-destruction, is available for whosoever wants to be healed and to experience deliverance from the effects of foolishness.
In the word of God, there is power that nothing can deny from manifestation.
The word of God will perform exactly its purpose.
John 1:1-3 states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.”
Jeremiah 23:29 records the question by God, to gain the attention about His word, “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
The word of God is power and communicates power.
The communicating power in the word of God is the ardent for transformation for those who can receive and believe in the word of God.
The word of God is not compromising, but one that compromises the word of God, that is disobedient to despise the word of God.
Proverbs 13:13 cautions all, “He who despises the word will be destroyed, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
Despising the word of God is also a demonstration of a lack of fear for His commands.
Obeying God leads to obtaining the blessing of obedience from God while disobeying God is engaging the curses of disobedience.
Compromising the word is denying the self from becoming a build-up for God.
The word of God builds, and Jesus states in Matthew 16:18, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
Are you willing to be built up by His word?
As a temple of God, give yourself to the word of God that does not fail to answer to the purpose in life.
Jesus will build His church, and nothing shall prevail against it.
Do not prevent yourself from being built, but invest in the word, and be built for God.
Jesus, the word of God, is the One that builds and gives life abundantly.
It is encouraging to know that God magnifies His word above His name. (Psalm 138:2)

Prayer for today: Ask for the word of God to find a place in you to build you up for His glory.

INHERITANCE OF THE SANCTIFIED

FAITH CAPSULE: As a believer, how often do you feed on the word of God?

Psalm 61

Just as feeding on food demands an opening of the mouth, to be built by the word of God demands an opening of the heart.
Waiting for Sunday or reading the word of God once in a while will amount to little or not full of the word of God.
What is it that you are giving your heart to?
What you give your heart to is what will build you up.
Whatever you receive will become of you.
Give heart to the word of God.
Romans 10:17 states, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
One that gives heart gives self to the word of God to become one that word of God builds up.
Acts 20:32 admonishes, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
The word of God is the presence of God.
Giving oneself to the word of God is taking a position to be filled by the word of God, the presence of God.
One that takes the hearing of the word of God as a priority will testify that to have seen God move by His word.
After experiencing the word of God in its dimension (extent), Job testifies in Job 41:5, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.”
The ability to hear and see in the word is the power to build up one for possessing inheritance among all the sanctified.
One the word builds fear of God.
David testifies, “For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.” (Psalm 61:5)
God heard the vow of David and gave him the heritage of those who fear Him. Paul points out that one built by the word of God will gain the inheritance of those who are sanctified (consecrated to God).
What is it about heritage or receiving inheritance among the sanctified?
Isaiah 54:17 states, No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
Blessing to claim inheritance among the sanctified comes with a condition.
Do not be an acclaimed believer with no substance to be claiming, “No weapon formed against you shall not prosper.”
Engage the word of God as the servant of the Lord to experience the blessing of the heritage of the servants of the Lord.
Indeed, it is a blessing to become one that nothing forms against shall proper, but without being a servant of the Lord, claiming the heritage of the servants of God is an error.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to the word of God and be built by the word of God.
