Deny Your Uzziah

FAITH CAPSULE: Hindrance is a weapon of the devil.

Isaiah 6

Is there any representative of Uzziah in your life? Until the Uzziah in the life of Isaiah passed away Isaiah could not pass unto living his divine purpose. Until the death of King Uzziah, Isaiah could not see, hear or receive God’s call of duty.
If you sit back and allow your Uzziah, hindrance will interfere in your journey by delaying or denying you from where God has destined you. Hindrance is a weapon of the devil. The devil has no limitation in his attempt to deny the purpose of God but, there is a limitation as to whom his victim could be. Isaiah was on time but not in tune with God until the death of King Uzziah.
Before Isaiah heard the voice that sent him out as a representative of God, a number of things happened. The first of all was the death of King Uzziah. It wasn’t until King Uzziah died that Isaiah could see what he saw. It was his seeing that set him up for God’s calling. This is why it is important to ask God to destroy whatever represents King Uzziah in your life. The Bible declared in Isaiah 6:1, “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.” Isaiah went further to describe what he saw after the death of King Uzziah. Does this relate to your situation? Do you know if your hindrance is still well, alive, and active? Prayer unto God will definitely move your hindrance. After Isaiah had been able to see, he recognized himself as one that needed a cleansing touch. He said, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the king, The LORD of hosts” (Isaiah 6:5) Isaiah cried out in repentance when he saw all that was in the presence of the Lord of host. Isaiah cried for the LORD’s cleansing in his life. Isaiah’s cry sent for a needed refinement. Isaiah 6:6, “Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” The journey of destiny is beginning to take place in the life of Isaiah. King Uzziah is dead; Isaiah began to see;   he was able to repent and he received cleansing. The big picture began to settle in place for Isaiah. Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me.”’ There is no bigger calling in life than as receiving God’s call of assignment.

Prayer for today: Ask God to sentence every representative of King Uzziah in your life to a permanent death.

Purpose Of The Commandment

FAITH CAPSULE: Purpose to love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.

1Timothy1

One that is misplacing the purpose of God’s command is set to be displaced and not be full in the blessings of obedience. It is not impossible for the loudest praise worshiper to be the most empty before God. It would also not be a surprise if the loudest prayer within the fellowship of believers is the least heard of by God. This kind of person is an idle talker.
1Timothy 1:5-6, “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some , having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk.” The purpose of the commandment is not registered in an idle talker. As a result, the praise or prayer of an idle talker cannot be registered in heaven. The Word of God points to the truth that, one that strays from the purpose of the commandment have turned to becoming an idle talker. Are you are a noisemaker/idle talker? It is only the grace of God that is carrying you. However, the same word says, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:1-2) It is good to constantly examine and adjust ourselves in the word of God. By the word of God we are warned; by the word we obtain our reward. Is a pure heart in you?
Most of the time, the idle talker/ loud speakers claim to love brethren but they do not understand their claim. God cannot be deceived. He sees through your heart; not through your noise making. 1Peter 1:22, “Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit in sincere love of brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.” Has the word of 1 Peter fallen on deaf ears for you? Do you love fervently with a pure heart? Ones that love with pure heart are the pure in the heart. It is written, “Blessed are the pure in the heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8) Can you now see that not loving with pure heart has stamped out all your loud singing and lengthy prayers, as non-legit before God?
What about good conscience? Your claim for making the most noise and the lengthy prayer is based on you having faith. You have missed it and you are still missing it. As a matter of fact, you are heading for a shipwreck. 1Timothy 1:19, “Having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered a ship wreck.” You are a victim of yourself. It is not possible for you to claim faith as you do and not carry a good conscience. When you lack good conscience, you are empty and idle in operation before God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the enablement not to become a vessel that is set to be wasted.

Wait Not Waste Part 2

FAITH CAPSULE: In life, any time a decision not to wait has its way; it will not add up but take away life.

Luke 15:11-31, Psalm 37:1-9

Waiting on God is a source of God’s grace on anyone that takes to waiting on Him. Isaiah 30:18, “Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.” God will wait for those that wait on Him. Any time a decision not to wait has its way; it will not add up but take away. When the wind of lack and famine began to blow, the prodigal son was reduced from grace to survival. Things changed for the prodigal son and he could no longer belong to where he had longed for. Luke 15:15-16, “Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.” The prodigal son could not settle himself with the least of provisions that came his way. He has violated his ordained timing. The prodigal son missed it all. He had headed in the wrong direction. Any journey in the wrong direction is a journey into no direction. The prodigal son, having suffered deprivation, relegation, and self-inflicted abuse, came to himself. It is one thing to be able to identify a step in the wrong direction while continuing in the wrong direction, it is another thing to identify and turn back. The prodigal son came to himself; he did not continue in the wrong direction. It is written, “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.”’” (Luke 15: 17-18) At what point should we stop waiting on the Lord? At no point and there is no point to ever stop waiting on Him. Waiting is a demonstration of faith and faith is what pleases God concerning us. King David by virtue of his life experience encouraged, “Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say on the Lord. (Psalm 27:14) God will not sleep nor slumber and He is mindful of all His children. Wait and not waste.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to be constant and consistent in waiting on Him.

Wait Not Waste

FAITH CAPSULE: A failure to abandon waiting is a passage to be abounding in waste.

Luke 15:11-31

To be in a state of lack where there is plenty in place is a direct result of the inability not to wait for God’s finger to move. The Apostle Paul already said that our need would be supplied according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Why not wait? Why the effort to move into wasting away? In the parable of the lost son (Luke 15:11-32), it was clearly demonstrated that the prodigal son entered into a state of want because he could not wait for his appointed time. The prodigal son intervened in God’s timing for his life by twisting the clock. A Clock is not registered in heaven; God operates not by man’s clock but by His appointed time. The parable mentioned that the prodigal son was the younger of two sons who could not wait for the portion of goods that falls to him. Why the rush where there is so much to receive in the place of waiting? Have you entered into self-designed rush lately? Not to be able to wait is to abide in waste. The prodigal son got his portion, journeyed to a far country, and wasted his inheritance. Jesus’ parable is not a play write-up; it is in place for our learning and correction. The word is to serve as instruction to guide in every walk of life. Evidently in life, any type of abundance set for man that’s given at the wrong time will lavishly be exhausted and could not be appreciated as compared to what is received while going through the pain of waiting. The prodigal son did not wait. As a result, he was bound to end up wasted. The prodigal son ended up where he was not called to be because his timing in the journey of life was interrupted by his inability to wait for God’s time. It is written concerning the prodigal son, “And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land and he began to be in want. (Luke 15: 13-14) Any time one walks out of God’s timing, one ends up in wrong timing. Obedience brings forth blessing while disobedience brings forth cursing. God cannot be deceived neither can He be mocked. God’s word has never changed neither shall He lower the standard of expectation. Wait on God and you will never step into mistakes. It is absolutely true that none ever complained of falling or stepping into grievous mistake while waiting on God.

Prayer for today:
Ask God for the grace that prompts man from going out of waiting into wasting away there life.

The Love Of God

FAITH CAPSULE: God has given His word and He has fulfilled His salvation plans for us.

John 15

Jesus was speaking in Luke 6:27, “But I say to you who hear; love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” Jesus was not talking about speaking love to one another, but He was instructing and teaching on love as the only way to the fulfillment of God’s command. It is easy to talk love than actually demonstrating it, especially to a stranger or the neediest. Absolutely nothing can be done to substitute love, and that is why Jesus emphasized on His message of love so as to be heard. Undeniably, to love is to obey God and to obey God is to love. God is love. He sent His only begotten son because He loves us. Just as it is among the unbelievers, there are also believers that go around with a diary of grudges and bitterness. In entering the church, they are the ones who praise the loudest. Indeed, it is good to worship God, but worshiping God in emptiness is worthless and does not amount to power. It is written in 1 John 2:9-10, “He, who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.” God is not a fool, neither is He a God who does not hear or see. God has given His word and He has fulfilled His salvation plans for us. It is now left for man to turn unto God and obey all that He has commanded. He knows when love is not genuine and sincere. Loving has to be in God’s own way. The book of 1Timothy 1:5 stated, “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.” Love is what Christianity is all about. Often, believers have walked away where love needs to be demonstrated. Love can never be harmful especially when it is demonstrated with a good conscience and sincere faith. Romans 13:10 says, “Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” It is clearly demonstrated that the diary of bitterness, anger, and animosity will not prevail; it will only unveil the owner of the diary to eternal damnation. Also, it will only take the grace of God to live a life of loving others.
Prayer for today: Ask God today for His grace of obedience.
