FAITH CAPSULE: What is keeps you away from the word of God?
John 1:1-34
The word of God is in place for all who will give themselves to the word of God.
In the word of God, there is direction, deliverance, and preservation.
One with an understanding of the word of God is bound to gain a knowing edge in all life journeys.
To gain understanding is to hear and hear repeatedly, to observe the word of God.
One who hears the word of God consistently, meditating on the word of God, shall be able to see in the word of God. will meditate on the word of God.
Joshua 1:8 informs all, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
What one sees in the word is what one receives, to become such.
Get an unfailing answer, solution to the challenges of life.
Also, one without knowledge and understanding will not recognize the hour for deliverance in the word of God.
Jesus identifies a lack of understanding as the root of failure in all areas of life.
Jesus expresses in John 8:43, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
A listening disability denies understanding, leaving no place for a knowing edge in the challenges of life.
Make it a way of life to spend time on the word of God to gain understanding and knowledge, having an edge in the journey of life.
When there is a lack of knowledge and understanding in the Word of God, failure in the walk of life becomes inevitable.
Jesus is the wisdom, the Word of God, the instruction for all. 1Corinthians 1:30 communicates to all,“But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…”
Give yourself wisdom from God!
Know and remember that the word of God heals and delivers from destruction (Psalms 107:20).
The Word of God gives life abundantly to one who will receive and believe in the Word of God.
Do not have the ability to understand God in His Living Word due to worldly living and unending chores, some of which include being busy and having no time to study the Word of God.
Spending engaging world activities ahead of the activities to the glory of God.
Taking a stand against the truth of God.
Giving time to the foolishness of the world.
With understanding, give life to giving regard to God.
Understanding the word of God is to gain and retain the presence of God.
Many pages of the Bible testify that the way of God is the word of God.
Having an understanding and knowledge of the Word of God is also the source of the revelation from God to get a clear unfailing direction in the journey of life).
