Out Of The Heart

FAITH CAPSULE: If your heart is one that is being guarded by the word of God, confessions becomes more of positive than negative.

Numbers 14, 1 Samuel 8:1-9

Whatever man speaks from his heart is what springs out for manifestation. Are you constantly speaking positive or negative concerning your situation? It is written in Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”Jesus said, “…for out of the abundanceof the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34) The two scriptural verses testify that heat is where every positive or negative confession springs out from. What is the state of your heart? If your heart is one that is being guarded by the word of God, confessions becomes more of positive than negative. The children or Israel could not confess positive in the face of challenge but negative. God heard their negative complain and He responded by sending Moses to them, “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness…” (Numbers 14:28-29)
Also, whatever you are asking God to do for should be asked with clear understanding.God is still in the business ofanswering the call of His children. Some things you ask for will go forth and be delivered and there will be no excuse. Proverbs 6:2, “You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of mouth.” When the Israelites were crying out and rejecting God, they displayed acts of ignorance. They did not know that their call was a call of rejecting God; they thought they were rejecting Samuel. 1 Samuel 8:7, “ And the LORD said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.” If you do not know what to ask of God or when to ask it, go before Him in thanksgiving and in praise.Thanking God wholeheartedly takes man through into His gates while praising God with understanding access man into His presence. Bible testifies, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”(Psalm 100:4)Thanking and praising God in deed and in truth will eliminate the trap of negative confession and elevate man to a place of positive possession. If you know what to ask Him, it is safe for you to go before Him in thanksgiving and praise worship. He is a faithful God. The children of Israel ignorantly rejectedGod as King. Ignorance is not an excuse before God. Be very careful in what you ask, when you ask and how you ask.

Prayer for today:Ask God for the grace that your heart be constantly kept with diligence against all kinds of negativity.

Avoid Destructive Challenges

FAITH CAPSULE: Listen tohave an edge over destructive challenges.

Genesis 18:16-33
It is written, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2) The word of God is life it is not letter. The word of God is still speaking and it is going to continue to speak forever. Any life style that is short of Romans 12:1-2 will cause distance between God and man. Without doubt, in this world of wickedness, a distance from God is walking closer to sudden and untimely death. Challenging situation where there is lack of knowledge causes both acclaimed believer and unbeliever their life. Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lackofknow…” Knowledge of God’s word is equal to having edge over destructive challenges. God is still speaking to deliver His from destructive challenge.
Are you still waiting for God to speak to your situation? Honestly, it could be that He has spoken and you did not hear. If you believe that He has not spoken, you can keep waiting to hear from Him. He will speak direction if indeed you are serving Him. If you are serving God, it is not possible for Him not to speak. Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” You probably have heard Him with your ear but missed the message, because you did not listen with your heart. It is not enough to hear with the ear and not listen with the heart. The Word of God is true and there is no lie or failure in His word. Genesis 18:17, “And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?” God is faithful to His servants and He will do what he has promised to do. Are you doing what He expects of you? Are you living the life of a servant of God (a living sacrifice)? If he does not speak to you directly, it could be because of the distance that you are keeping from Him. However, because of His goodness mercy, He will still send one that is closer to Him to speak to you. If you will take a breath concerning your situation, and begin to go into the depth of His word, you will hear clearly and directly from Him. He is still in the business of revealing to those who will wait to hear from Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God to open your eyes and ears of understanding His word of deliverance.

Engage Obedience Fully

FAITH CAPSULE: Obedience to the Word of God requires doing all of His command before the fullness of His blessings can flow.

Genesis 6:1-22, John 2:1-11

Obedience is doing according to all that God commanded. Also, obedience to God is doing whatever He says to us, to do. Noah did all that God commanded him when he responded to God’s command that says to him, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. And this is how you shall make it…” (Genesis 6:13-15) Noah did not doubt God but drown himself fully into God’s command. By virtue of Noah’s obedience, the word testifies, “…Noah did according to all that God commanded him, so he did.” (Genesis 6:22)
Obedience to the Word of God requires doing all of His command before the fullness of His blessings can flow. Noah was not just obedient to God; he was obedient to the fullest. While the entire population was living ungodly lives, Noah refused to be a part of it. When it was time for judgment, God singled him out for deliverance. Are you addressing your life in full obedience to God’s command over your specific deliverance?
Obedience to God is doing whatever He says to us. The Bible recorded, “…there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”(John 2:1-3) Jesus’ mother expected miracle of provision of wine. Mary, the mother of Jesus intervened by appealing to Jesus for miracle provision. After having approached Jesus, she gave a clear instruction to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5)isgrace, embarrassment, and ridicule from taking over the grace and miracle of God at the wedding ceremony.  The servants received and followed the word of Jesus’ mother and did exactly what Jesus said to them. The obedience of the servant denied d
Obeying Jesus at all times will address every area of lack and will bring forth deliverance. Where thousands are falling, the obedient one will remain standing to the glory of God. Invest whatever it takes for you to obey His commandment because it will deliver into your hands more than you expect.

Prayer for today:Ask for the fear of Godthat causes man to be full in obeying His command.

Seperate To Him

FAITH CAPSULE: Without been fully separated unto God, answering to God fully is not possible.

Genesis 32

The route that leads to everyone’s encounter of divine assignment is often different and not always the same. However, the pattern remains to be that everyone becomes separated to God. Jacob was preparing to meet his brother Esau when he took the route that brought him to having an encounter of his divine assignment. Saul (later became Paul the apostle) took to the route of his divine assignment when he was set with threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord in Damascus. Both men had a name change in their encounter. Jacob was changed to Israel and Saul became Paul.
Jacob had a wrestling encounter with God. The wrestling that brought a change of name for Jacob did not take place until Jacob was left alone by his wife and all of his possessions. The Bible records in Genesis 32:22-24,“And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of Jabbok. He took them, sent them over the brook, and sent over what he had. Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.”   Jacob’s wrestling led him into an encounter with God which brought about a name change. If Jacob had not been alone the story would probably have turned out differently.
Saul encountered a light from heaven as he embarked his journey to Damascus. He heard Jesus asking from him the reason for his persecuting Him. (Acts 9:3-4) At the time of his encounter, he was three days without sights and neither ate nor drank. (Acts 9:7-9)
Answering to God’s calling demands all and that requires releasing all that is around one so that one will be able to let go. Without been fully separated unto God, answering to God fully is not possible. Are you separated unto Jesus? Separate to Jesus and operate as a living sacrifice. Romans 1:1, “Paul a bondservant of Jesus Christ called to be an apostle separated to the gospel of God.” Have you been able to recognize that your salvation is not an accident? God has called you for a purpose that is to be taken very seriously. Just as Paul was called, so you have been called for a purpose. The issues that are denying you a separated life unto God has to give way. Paul the apostle was a living sacrifice throughout his calling. He was called from the pit of hell to the peak of the mountain. God is a faithful God. If you desire to serve Him faithfully, devote to Him and He will enable you to serve faithfully.

Prayer for today: Ask God today for the grace that will separate you unto His calling. Ask that anything that will keep you from your separation unto God should be permanently terminated.

Lost Of Focus

FAITH CAPSULE: Lost of focus often lead to avenue of life under curse.

2King 2, 5

Whatever one desires in life one must devote to attain one’s desires. With devotion to attain one’s desirer in place, desires become deposited in one’s life. What you want God to do in your life to enhance the fulfillment of God’s calling upon your life demands consistent devotion. Elisha knew what he wanted from God. He also realized the channel for the flow of his desire when gave up distraction and entered into following Elijah. Elisha saw what Elijah had done by the hand of God upon his life. By virtue of God’s testimony over the life of Elijah, Elisha followed Elijah everywhere he went. Elisha was fully devoted and he denied agents of distraction such as discouragement and mockery. Elisha, in his journey of life could not be distracted from focusing on what he wanted. It is written, “And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today? And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” (2Kings 2:1-3) The verses above made it clear how Elisha insists on attaining his desires despite discouragement from Elijah. Elisha persist against the sons of prophets attempt to get him discouraged.
When the chariot of fire came and took Elijah to heaven, all that Elisha had desired of Elijah answered in his life. Elisha filled the place of Elijah. As Elisha graduated to the place of Elijah by denying distraction, Gehazi filled the place of Elisha.
Gehazi could not keep his focus. Elisha had turned down the gift from Naaman, the commander of the army of the King of Syria, who offered it as a repayment for receiving healing from leprosy. Seeing that Elisha had rejected the gift, Gehazi became distracted and pursued Naaman to reclaim the gift. Gehazi lost focus because of distraction; his purpose was altered and his heart went after material things. Is your case similar to that of Gehazi? Do you know what your calling is about? Elisha found out Gehazi’s search for material things. Elisha reacted to Gehazi’s action when he pronounced a curse upon Gehazi stating,“… the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.’ And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.” (2Kings 5:27) Do not lose focus which may bring upon you everlasting or generational curses.

Prayer for today:Ask for the grace to keep you from every agent of destructive distractions.
